There is a wet well in the <br />system design that could be utilized. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked how soon would it be necessary to start pumping in that area <br />after the initial construction had started. <br />Mr. Gotwald thought that possibly by August 1st or 15th. <br />Mr. Backlin thought some consideration for the unit used for hauling should <br />be thought about. He felt that the present tractor would not go through another <br />winter. <br />There was some discussion of this remaining a developers problem. Mr. Gotwald <br />said these lines would be in a public street thus they become a municipal system. <br />Mr. Jaworski said he could see no problem in allowing these lines to be installed. <br />Mr. Rehbein said that he would put in writing that he will pay for any new homes <br />that are built and hooked up to this system. He feels, however, that the present <br />home should be treated the same as the ones in Country Lakes. <br />There was discussion on the cost of hauling and the ways of'possible solution. <br />Mr. Rehbein felt that if these lines were installed, it could bring pressure to <br />bear for the installation of the interceptor. <br />Mr. Locher thought if this system was not approved by the Metro Sewer Board, the <br />City could get into a bind. <br />Mr. Jaworski asked Mr. Rehbein if he would wait for an answer until after the <br />meeting with the Metro Council scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 1974. <br />Mr. Rehbein said that after waiting for two and one -half years, a few more days <br />wouldn't make that much difference. He also said they would like to attend that <br />meeting but will keep quite. <br />Mayor Bohjanen had obtained application forms for the storage of flamable liquids <br />from the Minneapolis Fire Department. He gave copies to the Councilmen. This <br />matter was tabled for consideration at the next Council meeting. <br />Mayor Bohjanen also proclaimed May 17 and 18 as Poppy Days in the City of Lino <br />Lakes. The V.F.W. will be selling Poppies on those days. All people should buy <br />and wear these Poppies in gratitude to men and women who have served their country. <br />Mr. Jaworski had rewritten the specs for the truck. These were now discussed. Mr. <br />Jaworski moved to advertise for bids for a 1974 dump truck per these specs. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. Mr. Jaworski moved that bids are to be in <br />by 2nd Monday in June, the 10th, Bids will be opened on that date. With delivery <br />date to be as soon as possible. Deviation from specs will be considered in lieu <br />of an early delivery date. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />On the roads, he plans to check them with Mr. Gotwald on Thursday after the meeting. <br />The timing schedule for the blacktopping of Maple, Orange and the cross street <br />should be decided at that time. <br />
