4/12/71 <br />to draft a letter to the State Architect stating that we foresee the <br />possibility of installing sewer in the Youth Center area within the next <br />5, years. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Gotwald stated that, persuant to the Mayor's request, he had compiled <br />e list of street which had not yet been taken over by the Village, as <br />foliows: Maple Street and Orange Street which are on record but not ` <br />maintained, Birch Larvae ", which is not on record and not maintained; 77th <br />Street East and West, 82nd Street East to the end; Marshan Lane and <br />Hansen Road, all of which are maintained but have no right of way re- <br />corded. He reoc mended that we straighten out the records and get a <br />60 feet right of way on these last roads. <br />After discussion, Mr. L'Allier moved that the 4 street (77th East and <br />West, 82nd, Morahan and Hansen Rd.), after we are able to get the necessary <br />easements, be made a part of the Village road system; this is to include <br />Lois Lane from Old Highway 8 East as far as it is now used; this motion <br />to pertain only to the portion of the roads as now used and maintained. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried unanimously. Mr. Gotwald and Mr. Locher <br />will work out the easements on the plat maps and will take care of all <br />loose ends. <br />There was dissuasion on Orange, Maple and Birch streets, with Mr. Rosengren <br />and Mr. Gotwald being asked to determine the correct manes of these streets <br />from the plat maps; the roads in Twilight Acres.were also discussed. It was <br />noted that it -would be impractical to call improvementshearings for <br />Twilight Acres now with assessments coming... Mr. Bohjanen moved to authorize <br />Mr. Rosengren to haul in fill in Twilight Acres, contingent on the weather, <br />in order to upgrade the streets, and to perform. routine maintenance. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />Peltier Drive and 80th were discussed. Mr. L'Allier moved to authorize <br />Mr. Rosengren to use whatever means necessary to take care of the bad spots <br />in 80th Street, at an estimated post of $300 for e scraper plus labor. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />After considerable discussion, Mr. L'Allier offered,a resolution to be sent <br />to the County Commissioners asking them to move with dispatch to complete <br />the County section of read they are building East of Centerville, Birch <br />St. 1 mile West of Centerville Road and the freeway service road East of <br />135E; the resolution to be sent to the members of the County Board and <br />to Jake Lundheim. Seconded by-Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Gotwald reported that he had spent 1 1/2 hours with Joe Davis going <br />over the area West of the Hall in order to lay out ball diamonds; they had <br />decided that it would be best to put only 1 diamond in in order to provide <br />adequate parking and due to the terrain. Mr. Jaworski will work further <br />with Mr. Davis on this. <br />Mr. Myhre was instructed to keep an eye on a giant junkyard which had grown <br />up behind Luther's Sport Shop in the undeveloped land of Lakeview Woodlands. <br />Mr. Bohjanen that there had been no C&BDC meeting, thpy gave up the time <br />for a concerned citizens group to hear a report by the chairman of the <br />Minnesota Taxpayers Association, Mr. Bohjanen reported that he had <br />1 <br />
