78 <br />8/23/71 <br />RESOLUTION <br />BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes Village <br />Council accept the First Rider to Agreement <br />between the Board of Water Commissioners and the <br />Village of Lino Lakes and authorizes the Mayor and <br />the Clerk - Treasurer to sign the documents. <br />/s/ Ralph L'Allier <br />Ralph M. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier read the July police report as follows: 2,631.7 miles driven, <br />272 Home and business checks, 29 stolen items recovered, 1 stolen auto re -' <br />covered, 21 complaints, 9 assists to/by other departments, 6 larcenys <br />handled, 5 escapees from M.R.D.C, involving 4 hours time, 4 aids given to <br />motorists, 2 legal papers served, 1 domestic, 1 accident, 1 burglar alarm <br />(false), 1 runaway juvenile recovered. <br />Mr. L'Allier noted that we had taken comprehensive bids on insurance -re- <br />cently and that the insurance was awarded to James M. Ray. He stated that <br />he met with Mr. Ray who had gotten a quote from Auto Owners on a consolidation <br />of all our policies. The result was that we would save $500 per year by a <br />package deal. The policy contains an exclusion for riots. <br />Mr. L'Allier moved that the Council authorize this insurance consolidation <br />as listed in a letter passed out to the members. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier moved to request a quote from Mr. Ray for including riot <br />coverage under general liability. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Franklin Gourley of 19733 Packard St. N.E. Mpls., inquired about moving in a <br />house. He was told that htis requires a bond, inspection by a member of <br />the ?&Z, Council and the Building Inspector. Copies of Ord. 30 and 30A <br />will be sent him. <br />Al Robinson asked what was happening to Pine St. Mr. Locher is checking on <br />the legais; the question was on how far the road was maintained; we must <br />get deeds. However, the Columbus attorney must take care of matters on their <br />side of Pine Street. Mr. Locher stated that if the road has been maintained, we <br />can continue to do so. Mr. Rosengren stated that we would have to talk to <br />Columbus since they would then be doing more than half of the road. Mr. L'Allier <br />asked Mr. Locher to contact the Columbus attorney on this. <br />Peltier Drive was discussed. Mr. Gotwald stated that the survey on the Willie-tray <br />property was done and had been sent to her attorney. The Clerk;.vas instructed <br />to call Mrs. Wilhelmy to have her attorney send a copy of the survey or bring <br />it out. Copies of the survey will be made for the Council, Mr. Gotwald and Mr. <br />Locher. Mr. Gotwald stated that there is no dispute with the lines. <br />Rich Juleen asked about the lots in Lakeview with high grass, many of these <br />being owned by persons out of state, etc. He was told that wail publish <br />
