16 <br />10/26/71 <br />The regular meeting of the`Lino Lakes Village Council held on October 26, 1971 <br />was called to order at 8 :08 P.M. by Mayor L'Allier with all members present; <br />also present were Mr. Gotwald and Mr. Locher. <br />Donald liarier requested that paragraph 3 on page 2 be corrected by deleting most <br />of lines 7, 8 & 9. There was discussion. Mr. Bohjanen moved that the Oct. 1st <br />budget minutes be corrected as requested by Mr. Wrier. There was no second to <br />the motion, which then died. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to accept the minutes of the October 1st budget meeting as <br />corrected. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried with Mr. Bohjanen voting <br />"No". <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to accept the minutes of the regular October 12th meeting <br />as written. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk reported receipt of the following: 1) affidavits of publication of <br />Ordinance #58, 2) affidavits of publication of the bond sale notice, 3) muni- <br />cipal court fines in the amount of $183.50 for September, 4) certification <br />from Drovers State Bank, South St. Paul, that it has issued a certificate of <br />deposit in the principal sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars in favor of U.S, Lakes <br />Development Co. subject to first lien on the part of the Village of Lino Lakes, <br />5) a letter from Milton C. Honsey, Chairman of the Metro Sewer Board, which <br />confirmed that the Lino Lakes -- Centerville interceptor is part of the approved <br />1971 Capital Improvements Program to provide service to Lino Lakes, that it <br />will be built during 1972, and that any municipality that will be served by a <br />project that is being planned and constructed will share in the cost allocation <br />during the budget year, 6) a quarterly report from the Centerville Volunteer <br />Fire Dept;, which was read. <br />The Clerk requested authorization to order 300 payroll check blends, a one- <br />year's supply. Mr. Rosengren moved that the Clerk be authorized to order 300 <br />payroll checks after comparing prices. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. 'Carried <br />unanimously. <br />The Clerk stated that Roy Backlin had compiled the time spent in putting in <br />culverts and hauling fill for Columbus Twp. She wished to know what hourly <br />rate to charge them for man and backhoe per hour, noting that the rate for man <br />and truck had been set at $8 /hr. after discussion, Mr. Bohjanen moved to set <br />the rate of $12 per hour for man and backhoe. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to grant a special use permit for sign application #114 to <br />Naegele Outdoor Advertising based on the approval of the Engineer and the P&Z. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried with Mr. L'Allier abstaining as the <br />sign would be located on his farm. <br />Mr. Cardinal reported that Glenn Rehbein had requested a variance at the P&Z <br />meeting for a model home to be placed on Lot 5, Block 2 of the proposed <br />Glenrae Estates. After discussion, Mr. Cardinal moved to grant a variance <br />to Glenn Rehbein for a model home to be built on Lot 5, Block 2 of the pro- <br />posed Glenrae Estates, with the stipulations that we receive letters from the <br />Engineer And the Planner that the home fits in with the scheme of the pro- <br />posed plat, and that the model home will not be sold as a residential unit <br />or used other than as a model home until the final plat is accepted, on the <br />following described property: The East' 130 feet of the West 483 feet of the <br />North 150 feet of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 29, T31N, R22W, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, subject to Birch Street. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />
