118 <br />11/8/71 <br />Clyde Rehbein presented a drawing of his proposed temporary storage building <br />for the Glenrae plat. The building would be covered by galvanized metal, <br />the size 45' by 30', would have sliding doors, and would be located next to <br />the woods. Mr. Bohjanen suggested that the permit be renewed every 6 months <br />and that the Council inspect the building.every 6 months. Mr. Cardinal moved <br />to approve the temporary building for Clyde Rehbein for a 6 month period, <br />that the Council review the building each 6 months before renewing the permit.. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier noted that Mr. Locher will have the request for a PCA variance <br />to the burning ban for the next meeting. <br />Setting a price for a copy of the complete ordinance book was discussed. The <br />Clerk stated that the:cost,for each of the 10 copies had Dome to $11.18 for <br />labor and $7.42 for paper, for a total cost of $18.60 each. Mr. Jaworski <br />moved to set the price for a complete ordinance book at $15.00, and that <br />books be made up on order. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />There was discussion on making up new building code books. It was decided to <br />have the Clerk get prices on the cost of printing 50 and 100 code books; she <br />is to ask the Engineer and the Building Inspector which ordinances to include. <br />The matter of rescinding the fee increase for assessment searches as bad been <br />set at the September 13th meeting was discussed. Mr. Bohjanen moved to amend <br />The September 13, 1971 minutes, Page 6, paragraph 5, next to last line, by <br />changing "immediately" to read "et such time as the price freeze is lifted <br />or changed." Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal mentioned that be had figured that pert -time help in the Clerk's <br />department would cost about $2000 this year, and suggested that we hire a <br />full -time Clerk - Treasurer. Mr. Bohjanen asked if he meant for full 8 -hour <br />days and was told yes. Mr. Bohjanen stated that he thought we should let <br />something like this go until the first of the year. Mr. Rosengren commented <br />that we were behind a year already. There was discussion. Mr. Bohjanen <br />moved to table this request until the first of the year. There was no second <br />to the motion which then died. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to advertise for a full -time Clerk Treasurer to work 40 <br />hours per week plus taking the Council minutes. Seconded'byiMr. Rosengren. <br />Mr. L'Allier felt that he would object to paying overtime for taking the <br />minutes and that someone else should do it. Also, we still need part time <br />help. Mr. Bohjanen agreed that we would need part -time help too, but didn't <br />think we should saddle the new Council with something new. Mr. Jaworski <br />stated that he.would strike out the part of the motion about taking the <br />Council meetings. The time limit for taking applications was set to the end <br />of the month. The vote on the motion was as follows: Aye: Mr. Jaworski, <br />Mr. Cardinal, Mr. Rosengren, and Mr. L'Allier. No: Mr. Bohjanen. Mction carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier inquired of the Clerk whether some of the part -time work might <br />be cut out if the Clerk goes full time; the Clerk agreed that it would to <br />some extent. There was more discussion. <br />The bills were audited. Mr. Rosengren moved to pay the bills, seconded by <br />Mr. Cardinal, but Mr. Bohjanen wished more time to look them over. Mr. <br />Bohjanen asked the Clerk to make copies of the Planner's bill for the Council. <br />Mr. Rosengren. mentioned that he had a request from the Circle Pines Post- <br />master for a decision on whether they or the Hugo post office would serve <br />Glenn Rehbein's new plat. They felt that we should talk to the contractor <br />first and then make a decision. The Clerk stated that she had talked to <br />Glenn and that he preferred Circle Pines. <br />
