Mayor Bohjanen broke the tie vote, as allowed under the <br />law, and appointed Dick Zelinka as Trustee. <br />Mr. Zelinka then came forward and took the oath of office and was congratulated <br />by all members. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to accept the minutes of the May 9th special meeting, noting <br />that they should not be put in the big book as there was no quorum at that meeting. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />The corrections to the May 16th special meeting are as follows: <br />Page 2, paragraph 6, line 2, "1972" instead of "1971" <br />Page 2, paragraph 6, line 4, change $60.00 for it." to read "at $3,000.00 ". <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried with Mr. Cardinal abstaining. <br />The following corrections were made to the May 19th special meetill g: <br />Paragraph 1 should state that Mr. Marier was also present. <br />Paragraph II, line 1, change "recommended" to "'stated". <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Carried. <br />The following corrections were made to the May 22nd meeting: <br />Page 3, paragraph 7, line 2, add "and Mr. Hill" after "Mr. Winiecki." <br />Page 2, paragraph 7, line 5, delete "let "; replace with "taken ". <br />Page 8, paragraph 4, line 4, insert "might" after "projects ". <br />Page 8, paragraph 4, line 5, change "should" to "Could ". <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Carried with Mr. Jaworski abstaining. <br />Mr. Hopkins was not present yet regarding his request to use the Hall. <br />Jerry Rosengren was not present to report the progress on the house repairs. Mr. <br />Bohjanen said he had called him about a week ago and he said that there was very <br />little painting left on the rear overhang, and that the built on area had some <br />siding left to go on. Hank Rosengren said the work on the house was completed <br />today. He advised the Council to look into other areas in the Village where <br />permits have not been obtained also. The Building Inspector saw it earlier and <br />told Mr. Bohjanen progress was shown. Mr. Marier moved to have the Building <br />Inspector go and look at the house, and then, if the work is complete, Jerry <br />Rosengren can get his bond money back. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />The Deputy Clerk reported that a letter, dated June 7, 1972, fro rrrhe Metro <br />Council asked that different) municipalities' help in setting up a set of policies <br />to guide the Metro Council. Mr. Bohjanen noted that they had all received copies <br />of this. <br />Deputy Clerk also reported we have received notice from our insurance company that <br />the 1969 Ford Police car has been added to the automobile coverage. <br />Deputy Clerk read a letter to Milner Carley & Associates, dated May 22nd, from <br />MPCA; which stated that they could not approve the sewer plans for the Shenandoah <br />project until the Village has a comprehensive sewer plan. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
