6/26/72
Mr. Marier moved that we do not act on the applications for sewer licenses from
Frank Husnik and William Corcoran until the proper bonds and insurance certificates
are attached. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried.
The requisitions were inspected. Mr. Marier questioned requisition No. 77,
submitted for the second time, on mechanics tools, feeling that we have two mechanics
that we pay to do the work and these are not mechanic -type tools. A cheaper set of
sockets would suffice. He felt $500 is too much to supply mechanics who should have
their own tools; it was unreasonable.
Mr. Marier moved to accept the requisitions withholding No. 77. Seconded by Mr.
Bohjanen. Carried. Mr. Bohjanen said he would like to have Mr. Jaworski check with
the County and see if they have tools which we could obtain at a better price. Mr.
Marier felt Craftsman tools would do.
Mr. Jaworski moved to approve bills #4544 through #4569, and payroll checks #1754
to #1777. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Carried. Mr. Marier noted that we have two bills
with no requisitions, which was better, but there should be none.
Mr. Bohjanen explained the circumstances for the $3.13 item to fix the transmission
in one of the police cars.
Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 11:58 P. M. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Carried.
Minutes approved at the meeting of July 10, 1972
Clerk-Treasurer
