1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />February 23, 1976 <br />Mr. Locher read the Resolutions that must be passed in conjunction with the <br />filing of the appIicat(Lon for the insurance. <br />Mr. Locher said the Resolutions reassert what the City is already doing. Mr. <br />McLean asked if there was any reference to the Shoreland Flood Plans Manage- <br />ment Act and Mr. Locher said, No. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked Mr. Locher if he could see any problems with the adoption <br />of these Resolutions and Mr. Locher said, No. This booklet also includes <br />the rates that can be charged for this insurance. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Resolution Number One, and to authorize the <br />Clerk to fill out the application. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Resolution Number Two. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Bohjanen reminded the Council of the meeting scheduled for March 1, <br />1976 at 8:00 P. M. for discussion of the revision of the Dog Ordinance. <br />The proposed contractors'' license is being handled by the Planning and Zon- <br />ing Board. He also asked the Council to have some ideas on the Land Use <br />Plan for submitting to Senator Milton by that meeting. <br />Under Old Business, Chief Myhre asked that one or more of the Council members <br />meet with him and talk over a plan he has for solving the impasse with the <br />Union in connection with the contract. <br />Mayor Bohjanen said the Council has been waiting for a response from the <br />Union for information that had been requested about a month ago. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked if he wanted to talk on a one to one basis or to the entire <br />Council? Chief Myhre said, Either way. He would lR:ke to present his ideas <br />and get this problem solved. <br />Mayor Bohjanen suggested that Chief Myhre contact each Council member and present <br />his idea to them on an individual basis. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve requisitions #653 through #656 with the stip- <br />ulation the penalty and the due dates be printed on the utilty billing post- <br />cards. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the bills #6901 through and including #6924. <br />Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Karth moved to approve Payroll checks #3390 through and including #3415. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 11:50 P. M. Seconded by M4'. Q Karth.
