r <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1i. <br />June 14, 1976 <br />Mr. Schneider questioned the $50,000.00 CD on deposit with the Drover's State Bank <br />in conjunction with the principal payment due in January of 1977. This is to be <br />checked with the Attorney. <br />Mr. McLean asked if part of th.s CD couhd not be attached as part of the road bond <br />that was voided on West Shadow Lake Drive. <br />Mr. Gotwald said that West Shadow Lake Drive is legally a City Street. He said <br />once bui[anghas been allowed on a street, the City must accept for partial maint- <br />enance and thus it becomes a City Street. There was discussion on asking for some <br />assistance from the County since it is used in conjunction with the golf course. <br />This will be discussed at a later date. <br />The Clerk was asked to do some research as to whom the tax statements are mailed <br />to in the Country Lakes area. <br />Mr. Schneider suggested in working out the new Police Contract with Centerville, <br /><that a formula similar to the one used by Lexington Fire Department. Mr. McLean <br />suggested this be checked. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve requisitions #668, 669, 676, 677, 678, 679, 680 & 681. <br />Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. SchnePder moved to approve checks #7096 through and including #7125. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to approve payroll cheks #3559 through and including #3578: -, <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chief Myhre said that on Sunday a horse had been found on Elm Street and the owner <br />is unknown. Someone held the horse for one day but then the Animal Control had to <br />be called and the animal was taken to the Humane Society. The City Ordinance does <br />not provide for an impounding fee for large animals and Chief Myhre suggested a fee <br />of $50.00 be charged. <br />This fee had been suggested by the Animal Control. Chief Myhre asked what happens <br />to an animal if the owner cannot be located and he said they are kept at the Humane <br />Society for five days and then given away. However, the person taking the animal <br />must retain the animal for one year and any time during that year the owner can <br />reclaim by paying all costs incurred. <br />Mr. McLean moved to add an impounding fee for large animals in the amount of $50.00 <br />This motion to become an attachment to Ordinance #65. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:30 P.M.
