Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider said the plans for the installation of an area in the garage to be <br />used for a warming house had been submitted to Mr. Mobley for an estimate. The <br />Park Board had met on the eighteenth but had not quorum. <br />Mr. Schneider asked to have the budget hearing scheduled on September 29th continued <br />until October 6, 1976. The Council agreed. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to authorize the Clerk to write to the Anoka County auditor and <br />request a 30 day extension for certifying the budget. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider presented a list of reports that should be required and at which Council <br />meeting they should be presented. After some discussion, Mr. Schneider moved to re- <br />quire these reports with related departments to get copies with detail cash flow. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider had checked on another copy machine - Minolta - cost; $2500.00 with <br />a one year warranty. This machine can be leased for $90.00 per month with this <br />amount to apply to the purchase price. Mr. Schneider moved to lease this copy machine <br />for three months from the D.C. Hey Company for $90.00 per month. Seconded by Mr. <br />Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider reported that he had met with the MMTC and there are other meetings <br />scheduled - he will have more to report later. <br />Mr. Locher said that he had tried to reach Mr. Kronholm on the $50,000 CD but as <br />of this date had not been able to contact him. He will keep trying. <br />Mr. Karth asked Mr. Locher to draw up a simple agreement with Mr. Schwankl on the lease <br />of the road grader. Mr. Locher said he would take care of it. <br />Mayor Bohjanen asked Mr. Locher if he had any information as to why the off sale liquor <br />stores are being required to close at 8:00 P.M.? Mr. Locher said he would check with <br />the liquor control commission. <br />Chief Myhre said that at school crossings the posted speed limit may be ten miles <br />per hour lower than the normal posted limit. He asked the Council to contact the <br />Anoka County Highway Department and ask this be done at the Lino School and on Sunset <br />near the Centennial School. The Clerk was instructed to write the letter of request. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve requisitions #702 through and including #708. Seconded by <br />Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to approve checks #7332 through and including #7360. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to approve payroll checks #3705 through and including #3742. <br />Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 12:15 A.M. Seconded by Mr. Schneider.
