December 13, 1976
IIItime to be considered in the first round but will be considered in the second round.
Mr. Gotwald suggested this may be to the City's advantage. It would be highly unlikely
for one City to receive approval for two grants.
But, Mr. Gotwald felt the overall Comprehensive Park Plan should be completed for the
entire Park system, not just for the property here at the City Hall.
Mr. Ronald Jaworski, from the audience, asked if the County was taking over West Shadow
Lake Drive, Mr. Karth said, No, they have assumed the repair of that street because of
the use by persons using the golf course.
There was discussion on the best way to preserve the gravel that is being put on that
Street and Mr. Gotwald suggested keeping the snow plow high this winter to avoid moving
the gravel. He also recommended a coat of oil in the spring to hold the gravel.
Mr. Schneider asked that a cost per copy comparision be done on several copy machines
so a decision can be made.
Mr. Schneider moved to approve requisitions #718, for the cleaning of the carpet in
the hallways and the offices only, and #720. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried
unanimously.
There was discussion on where the street lights the City pays for are located. Mr.
Zelinka moved to have the Clerk ask for a location list of all street lights within the
City. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously.
IIIMr. McLean moved to approve checks #7485 through and including #7513, with #7504 being
void. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously.
The Clerk was asked to check on the insurance on the tractor now being stored in the
City Hall.
The Clerk was also instructed to write a letter of "Thanks" to Mr. Burman, Mr. Torkild-
son and the Anoka County Commissioners for the work done on West Shadow Lake Drive.
Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:40 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Aye.
These minutes were approved, with correction on .
CLERK - TREASURER
1
