'10 <br />December 13, 1976 <br />contact Mr. Sprint. <br />Mr. Locher reported on his meeting with Mr. Kronholm of Drovers State Bank and had dis- <br />cussed what services are available to what lots in Lakes Add. #2 and #3. Mr. Kronholm <br />had felt the market value placed on some of the lots is out of line. Mr. Locher had <br />set up an appointment with Mr. Gayle Leone and Mr. Gordie Starkey of the Anoka County <br />Assessor's office for Friday, December 17, 1976 to go over the assessment. Mr. Locher <br />asked for Council concurrence. Mr. Kelling will be accompanying Mr. Locher. Mr. Zel- <br />inka so moved. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher reported that the $50,000.00 CD had been delivered to the Clerk on that date. <br />The Clerk reported the money has been deposited in the Savings Account until needed for <br />the principal payment due in January. <br />Mr. Locher said that he had not heard from the mediator in the police matter. He said <br />he has not tried to contact the person. He will keep the Council informed. <br />Mr. Gotwald has looked at the figures submitted by the Circle Pines Engineers in regards <br />to the water available from that City to the Lexington Park Lakeview area. Mr. Gotwald <br />said he would have to study the report. They are proposing 20 pounds pressure at the <br />boundary connection. Mr. Gotwald said he was not sure how this would affect homes one <br />mile from that connection. He will submit a report for Council consideration. <br />Mr. Gotwald said he and Mr. Volk had inspected the streets in Shenandoah that have been <br />completed and they meet the City specifications. The developer had installed concrete <br />curbs and gutters which are not required by the City. Mr. Gotwald would recommend the <br />following streets be accepted as part of the City system; Hokah Drive, from Birch to <br />Totem Trail - Rice Court - Totem Trail with the exception of the North 140'. The boule- <br />vards will be taken care of by the developer. The driveways that have been disturbed <br />will also be repaired. Arrowhead Drive must be completed in the Spring. The developer <br />must show evidence that all bills are paid. Mr. Gotwald reported the lift station is in <br />operation and the people can connect to the sewer system. <br />Mr. McLean moved to accept the streets as designated in Mr. Gotwald' s letter subject to <br />Lein waiver being received. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. <br />Mr. McLean amended his motion to include all sodding on the boulevards to be done by <br />the developer. Mr. Zelinka accepted the amendment. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Gotwald said he and Mr. Volk had also inspected Evergreen Trail in the Pine Vista <br />plat. This street has no boulevard since the trees extend to the street. Someone asked <br />about the curbs and Mr. Gotwald said a driveover type of curb had been installed. He <br />recommended acceptance of this street with proof that all bills have been paid. Mr. Karth <br />so moved. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanim ously. <br />There must be lein waivers received and Mr. Nelson should submit the money in leiu of land <br />for parks. The Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Nelson on these matters. Mr. McLean <br />so moved. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk was asked to remind Mr. Kelling the need for figures for the approved plat that <br />will be paying money in leiu of land for Park purposes. These figures should be available <br />before the December 27, 1976 meeting. <br />Mr. Gotwald felt the City needs an overall Comprehensive Park Plan. He had had some <br />prablems in filling out the application for Federal Funding. In regards to that app- <br />lication, a letter has been received stating the application had .not been received in <br />1 <br />
