Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka noted the requisition for the ag lime is over the $1,000.00 cost and <br />that two bids must be signed, not just a quote over the phone. This will have to <br />be deferred until the next meeting. <br />Mr. Schneider moved to approve requisition #744 and hold #745. Seconded by Mr. <br />Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chief Myhre was present and Mayor Bohjanen asked the Council if they had any quest- <br />ions for him. Mr. McLean asked if he would consider getting rid of both old cars <br />and Chief Myhre said, No, he felt one should be kept for a back up in case of a <br />break down or an accident. The Council felt the CD vehicle is always available in <br />an emergency. There was some discussion on this matter. Mr. Schneider suggested <br />this be deferred until the next meeting for discussion. <br />Chief Myhre said that the MTC bus is using Lakeview as a part of the turn around and <br />these streets are not constructed to handle that kind of weight. He had told them <br />this and suggested they find an alternate route for their turn around. The Clerk <br />is to write the MTC with this information. <br />MR. Locher reported on the letter of credit from North NorthEast Realty for $43,000.00 <br />for the construction of the street in Pine Haven. This letter is from the Hugo State <br />Bank and is in effect until July, 1978. Mr. McLean moved to accept the letter. Sec- <br />onded by Mr. Schneider. Motion carried, with Mr. Karth abstaining. <br />Mr. Schneider reminded the Council of the meeting with Mr. Oberstar scheduled for <br />April 21, 1977 at the Sportsman's Club in Coon Rapids. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve checks #7814 through and including #7858. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:40 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka.
