April 25, 1977
Mr. Karth moved to check into the possibility of using the CETA program for this person,
and if that fails, advertise in the local papers. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion
carried unanimously.
Mr. Schneider questioned the establishment of a tckler file and the Clerk said she would
hope to have it completed by the last of May.
Mr. Locher read a letter from Mr. & Mrs. Paul Reinhold of Lake Drive with a list of com-
plaints against Mr. Glenn Rehbein's operations located next door to their home. Mr.
Rehbein said the charge that he had violated the lot line is in error - in fact, his
land extends another 5 feet. He felt his operation is run as clean and efficiently as
possile. The cars are parked next to the lot and the heavy equipment is kept as far
away as possible. All repairs are done inside. Mr. Rehbein did not feel he was creat-
ing any sort of a nuisance.
Mr. McLean felt the operation was within the provisions of the ordinance. At the time
the zoning was done along Highway #8 there was no designation as to what a commercial
zone represented. This strip zoning was grandfathered into the new ordinance. It was
suggested a letter be written with these thoughts to the residents.
Mr. Locher had checked the application for a sewerirnstaller's license from Olson, Inc.
and found it in order.
Mr. Locher said he had some forms that need to be filled out in conjunction with the
re- spelling the names of three lakes; 1) Rondeau; 2) George Watch; 3) Marshan. He
will send the forms.
Mr. Locher said he had not had a response on the lift station as yet. The deeds for
the street into Acton had been delivered but he had not had time to check them. He
will report at the next meeting.
Mr. Locher had talked with someone in reference to the lots sold North of the end of
East Shadow Lake Drive and the buyers had been told the lots were being sold as is.
The Council felt at this time there is no way Mr. Sooger's request for funds can be
honored. Mr. McLean moved to write to Mr. Sooger with this information and suggest
that figures be presented b -efore the next budget hearings. Seconded by Mr. Karth.
Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Schneider moved to approve requisitions #745 and 748, holding #746 and 747. Seconded
by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. McLean moved to approve checks #7859 through and including #7886. Seconded by Mr.
Karth. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 12:30 A, M. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Aye.
These minutes Ire correct d an approve at, the May 9, 1977 regular scheduled Council
meeting. (,/2_ cA
CLERK - TREASURER
1
