r <br />June 13, 1977 <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve checks #7961 through and including #8011 <br />with #'s 7973 &8001 being voided and #7994 haveing a 10 error in the typed <br />IIIfigures. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimoulsy. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 12:00 midnight. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. <br />Aye. <br />These minutes were approved at the June 27, 1977 meeting. <br />Edna L. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer <br />June 27, 1977 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at <br />8:05 P.M. on June 27, 1977 by Mayor Bohjanen. Council members present; Karth, <br />McLean. Absent; Schneider, Zelinka. Mr. Locher and Mr. Gotwald were also <br />present. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the minutes of June 13, 1977 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk reminded the Council that on the July agenda will Employee evalua- <br />tions and consdieration of computing the Police Contract with Centerville <br />in the same manner as the Fire Contracts are computed. After some discussion <br />on this matter, the first budget hearing was set for August 1, 1977 at 7:30 <br />IIIp.m. with all department heads to be present. The direction of the Council <br />will be set at that meeting and further meeting dates set. <br />IIIThe Public Hearing for West Oaks of Bald Eagle was called to order at 8:35 p.m <br />Mr. Locher read the published notice of the hearing. Mr. McLean reported <br />there had been an Enviornmental Worksheet done on this project and mailed to <br />all the agencies necessary. Mr. McLean asked Mr. Bruggerman if there had <br />been any changes in this plat since it had been submitted to the Planning <br />and Zoning and Mr. Bruggerman said, No. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz was in the audience. He had called requesting permission to <br />hold a block party. The Clerk had checked with the Attorney and the matter <br />had been cleared with the Insurance agent. Mr. Karth moved to approve this <br />party. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Forms for application for refund from the State on the Shade Tree Program had <br />been received. This was given to Mr. Locher to look over. After some dis- <br />cussion on this matter, the Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Beach for <br />his assistance on filling out the application. <br />A letter from the Anoka County Comprehensive Health Department was read. <br />This letter sets forth the manner in which this department will assist the <br />local communities. It would appear they will only act as a go- between. <br />There was some discussion of the problems of obtaining a person to act as a <br />Health Officer. The City Council felt they coan only continue to operate <br />in the present manner. <br />The Clerk reported on the following items: <br />..The SAC of $1500.00 for the remodeling at MMTC had been received. <br />..A letter from the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission approving the in- <br />stallation of the sewers on LaMotte Road was read. This is to be a part of <br />the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for the City. <br />
