August 8, 1977 <br />Officer Hillyer thought the severity of the crime should be considered. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to table this matter for now but asked that this be on the agenda for <br />discussion at least once a month until a decision is made. <br />Mr. Karth suggested considering making the names public the second offense. Mr. Zelinka <br />thought this should be brought to the State Legislature pointing out the mistakes of the <br />current law. Officer Hillyer asked Mr. Locher if he personally felt publicity would be <br />a deterrent to juviles becoming hard core criminals and Mr. Locher said, Yes. <br />Mr. Zelinka's motion was seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve requisitions #774 through and including #776. Seconded by <br />Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve checks #8118 through and including #8163, with a correction <br />in spelling on #8159. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to adjourn at 11:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Schneid er.
