10 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota as follows: 1. The Village Council has determined that it is necessary <br />and expedient to construct a building for Village Hall, garage and other municipal <br />uses at an estimated cost of $79,000.00 and to provide payment of the cost by <br />issuing general obligation bonds of the Village in an amount not exceeding $100,000. <br />2. The question of isstipg negotiable coupon bonds to <br />provide money to pay the cost thereof shall be submitted to the voters of the <br />Village at the annual Village election to be held November 4, 1969. <br />3. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause <br />printed ballots to be prepared for use at said election. The proposition shall <br />be stated in substantially the following form: <br />OFFICIAL BALLOT -- VILLAGE ELECTION -- VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES -- Nov. 4, 1969 <br />Yes t' / SHALL THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE COUPON BONDS IN <br />No THE AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $100,000 TO PROVIDE MONEY FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF A BUILDING FOR VILLAGE HALL, GARAGE, AND OTHER MUNICIPAL PURPOSES <br />The following police report was read: Mileage 2242, 7 accidents, 1 fire, 21 <br />complaints, 4 domestics, 5 junk cars removed, 6 assists to other departments, <br />5 vandelism, 2 cars recovered, 1 stolen car, 5 missing persons (not Youth Center), <br />1 recovered person, 1 Driver's license pickup, and:'2 stolen property. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that the following resolution be adopted: <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO NECESSITY OF ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR <br />A MUNICIPAL BUILDING AND CALLING AN ELECTION <br />r <br />Instructions to voters: Voters desiring to vote in favor of the foregoing <br />proposition shall make a cross mark (X) in the square opposite the word YES. <br />Voters desiring to vote against the foregoing proposition shall make a cross mark <br />(X) in the square opposite the word NO. <br />4. The Village Clerk shall cause notice of said bond <br />election to be given by publication in the official newspaper of the Village once <br />each week for at least two consecutive weeks prior to said election, and by posting <br />in at least three public and conspicuous places in the Village at least ten days <br />prior to said election a notice in substantially the following form: <br />NOTICE OF BOND ELECTION <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a special bond election will be held at the <br />time and place of the annual Village election on November 4, 1969, at which a <br />vote will be taken on the following question: <br />SHALL THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE COUPON BONDS <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $100,000 TO PROVIDE MONEY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />BUILDING FOR VILLAGE HALL, GARAGE AND OTHER MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. <br />The polling place for said election will be in the Village Hall. The <br />polls will be open at 7:00 o'clock a.m. and remain open until 8:00 o'clock p.m. <br />All qualified registered voters of the Village are eligible to vote at said election. <br />June L. The said election shall be held and conducted in accord- <br />ance with the statutes of the State of Minnesota required by law for the purpose <br />of canvassing said election and declaring the results thereof. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Cardinal.
