10 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota as follows: 1. The Village Council has determined that it is necessary and expedient to construct a building for Village Hall, garage and other municipal uses at an estimated cost of $79,000.00 and to provide payment of the cost by issuing general obligation bonds of the Village in an amount not exceeding $100,000. 2. The question of isstipg negotiable coupon bonds to provide money to pay the cost thereof shall be submitted to the voters of the Village at the annual Village election to be held November 4, 1969. 3. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause printed ballots to be prepared for use at said election. The proposition shall be stated in substantially the following form: OFFICIAL BALLOT -- VILLAGE ELECTION -- VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES -- Nov. 4, 1969 Yes t' / SHALL THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE COUPON BONDS IN No THE AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $100,000 TO PROVIDE MONEY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING FOR VILLAGE HALL, GARAGE, AND OTHER MUNICIPAL PURPOSES The following police report was read: Mileage 2242, 7 accidents, 1 fire, 21 complaints, 4 domestics, 5 junk cars removed, 6 assists to other departments, 5 vandelism, 2 cars recovered, 1 stolen car, 5 missing persons (not Youth Center), 1 recovered person, 1 Driver's license pickup, and:'2 stolen property. Mr. Jaworski moved that the following resolution be adopted: A RESOLUTION RELATING TO NECESSITY OF ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR A MUNICIPAL BUILDING AND CALLING AN ELECTION r Instructions to voters: Voters desiring to vote in favor of the foregoing proposition shall make a cross mark (X) in the square opposite the word YES. Voters desiring to vote against the foregoing proposition shall make a cross mark (X) in the square opposite the word NO. 4. The Village Clerk shall cause notice of said bond election to be given by publication in the official newspaper of the Village once each week for at least two consecutive weeks prior to said election, and by posting in at least three public and conspicuous places in the Village at least ten days prior to said election a notice in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF BOND ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a special bond election will be held at the time and place of the annual Village election on November 4, 1969, at which a vote will be taken on the following question: SHALL THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE COUPON BONDS IN THE AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $100,000 TO PROVIDE MONEY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING FOR VILLAGE HALL, GARAGE AND OTHER MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. The polling place for said election will be in the Village Hall. The polls will be open at 7:00 o'clock a.m. and remain open until 8:00 o'clock p.m. All qualified registered voters of the Village are eligible to vote at said election. June L.
