After more discussion, Mr. Bohjanen moved to send correspondence indicating that
Lino Lakes has no wish to bid on the remaining Court property, that this should be
sold with first opportunity being given to the other communities. Seconded by
Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Locher mentioned that one of the judges had indi-
cated that he would purchase his own volumes.
The Clerk stated that the certificate of insurance and the corrected bonds for
B.K.O., Inc. of the Oasis Lounge had been received and thatthe liquor licenses
had been signed by the Mayor. Mr. Locher noted that the owner had told him that
they were going to switch insurance companies in order to find a cheaper one.
This was deemed all right.
The Clerk was instructed to check all insurance (liquor especially) policies
to see if they contained a 10-day notification clause.
Mr. Cardinal moved, on the Attorney's approval, to grant a license to Interstate
Plumbing and Heating Company to do sewage system work in Lino Lakes; however,
the permit for the sewage work would not be given until the drawings and plans
required by Ordinance No. 48 were submitted. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried.
Mr. L'Allier moved that the Council request that the Planning and Zoning Commission
undertake a review of the section of Ordinance No. 6 as it relates to mobile
homes and temporary permits for the same; that they rework the wording to limit
temporary mobile home permits only in conjunction with building permits on a
limited basis, with a maximum term of one year, excluding hardship cases; that
this reworded section be brought before ythe Council for consideration. Seconded
by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously.
Mr. Cardinal reported that the Mr. Cardinal who had gotten a temporary trailer
permit on Peltier Drive had moved out early.
Mr. Hauer asked that the Council consider hiring a new man to replace V. Upon the request of Mr. Scherer, it was decided to send a
note to AT&T concerning their light on the tower and keeping up the grounds around
the tower. Mr. L'Allier mentioned that Comm. Al Kordiak would be at the Park
Board meeting on Nov. 17th to discuss a joint park on Otter Lake. The next AAM
Meeting would be Nov. 19th.
