The Clerk read a letter from Mr. Gotwald stating that the road and borrow pit used <br />by Marvin Rehbein had been inspected; he recommended releasing the bond. However, <br />Mr. Rosengren stated that Mr. Rehbein may take out more dirt and that the bond should <br />be held for a couple days. <br />A new insurance policy for Chomonix Country Club had been received. Mr. Locher noted <br />that this policy did not contain an assault exclusion clause as had the previous policy. <br />The Clerk passed the sheet showing that $95,000 of treasury bills had been purchased <br />on March 9th from our bond funds. A sheet showing the exact disposition of the amount <br />received from the sale had been mailed to the members earlier. <br />A letter from the Metropolitan Sewer Board requesting design data for the sanitary <br />sewer project in Lakes Addition was read. Mr. Gotwald was given a copy of the letter <br />so that he could proceed. The Clerk was asked to make copies of the letter for the <br />Council. <br />A letter from rding proposed Chomonix East or Outlot G of Lakes <br />Addn. #2 was _; " >° =r several items missing from the proposal which should <br />be included b "►.'f'i y hearing. There was discussion on the streets in <br />the project. op es o e e er are to be made for the Council. <br />The Clerk had received from Mr. Gotwald a letter and map designating the low lots of <br />Lakes Addn. #2. Two more copies of the map are to be made, one for the Building <br />Inspector and the Planning & Zoning Commission. <br />Two bonds had been received for El Rehbein & Son, Inc. for a borrow pit using the <br />same haul road as Marvin Rehbein. Mr. Gotwald is to inspect the bonds and thepit, <br />etc. <br />The Clerk stated that Mr. Dupre had given the address of 1189 Main Street for the <br />new municipal building. <br />A letter from the County Assessor was passed, concerning having the 1970 assessment <br />finished on time. Mr. L'Allier stated that he had talked with both the County and <br />Village Assessors and had been assured by Mrs. Sarner that the work was progressing <br />rapidly and would be finished by April 1. The County Assessor had stated that Mrs. <br />Sarner does good work. <br />Mr. Locher recommended that the policy for Chomonix Country Club, although meeting <br />minimum requirements, be changed so the expiration date reads June 30, 1970, and that <br />an endorsement showing a 10 -day notice of cancellation clause should be added or a <br />letter to that effect received. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved that copies of the ordinances concerning contractor's licenses <br />be made for the Council and Planning & Zoning members and that the Planning & Zoning <br />Board take up the matter. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal presented Mr. Keith Apitz, accompanied by Mr. Ernie Apitz, who wished <br />to request a rezoning from residential to commercial for a filling station. There <br />was considerable discussion on his plans, etc. Mr. Locher stated that he would need <br />the written assent of 2/3 of the landowners of property within 300 feet of his <br />property. Mr. Locher wrote out the necessary form for this; it was decided that the <br />Clerk would print up copies and that Mr. Apitz would come to the office to secure <br />
