Also, since Clyde Rehbein had stated that Gerry Houle had done the sewer work while <br />acting as an hourly employee of Clyde's, it was decided to scratch the letter <br />authorized to be written to W. Houle. <br />W. Denny Houle mentioned that Mrs. Winter could not serve as one of the election <br />judges and was told that this natter bad already been taken care of. Mr. Locher <br />stated that voters in the hospital bond election would not have to be registered <br />to vote. There was some discussion on the fairness of this. <br />Denny Houle spoke on the ep- coming election, giving facts and figures as well as <br />Hospital Board policy. The Memorial Hospital had not yet received its accreditation, <br />but it was expected shortly. A letter bad been sent to the Community & Business <br />Development Commission to ask them to meet with members of the hospital staff for <br />information. Denny Houle stated that they would be glad to set up an informational <br />meeting with officials. <br />kr. Jaworski moved to grant a beer license to St. Joseph's Church for their chicken <br />dinner on August 9th starting at 11 o'clock a.m. and a bingo permit for the rest of <br />the year. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. MoShannock complained again about the junk yard on the Ford property next door <br />to him. The owner was stripping cars and hauling the remains into the swamp behind. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write to Mr. Ford, sending a copy of our junk car <br />Ordinance, telling him to remove the junk oars. Carbon copies will be sent to the <br />Attorney, Chief Constable and Council members. <br />Commissioner Burman came forward with some tax forfeit parcels which will be offered <br />at the Sheriff's sale in August unless the Council wishes to take them. He will <br />oheck with the Auditor's office on Lot 2, Block 4 of Lexington Park Lakeview which <br />is a ponding area now owned by the Village. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to request the County to hold the following piece of property <br />for us: Parcel 4650 of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 15, T31, R22. Seconded <br />by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to`turn the study of the available lots in Nordin Manor over <br />to the Engineer for study. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved that.Lots 17 & 18 of Block 5, Lexington Park- Lakeview, be put <br />up for sale. Seoon a by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved that we request the County to take over the extension of County <br />Road 54 from County Road 54 south to the County Line after completion by the State. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Burman reported that the County was holding up action on aligning the road <br />into Centerville Park until the decision on the Parks and Open Space Plan is made. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to change the date of opening the bids on the municipal building <br />to June 29th at 11 o'clock a.m. and to authorize the Clerk and the Engineer to open <br />the bids at that time and to report the results at the next meeting. Seconded by <br />Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jeworski moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Myhre reported that the police members had attended the courses at Mergy Hospital <br />and that they felt that they were well set to handle any emergency. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to adjourn at 11:09 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren.
