49 <br />Mrs. Kiang stated that the Jandric development seemed to be at a standstill; she <br />thought they might pull out and leave the mess. It was noted that at the present <br />Jandric is putting their main selling effort into a new development south of the <br />Cities. W. L'Allier stated that.he had talked with the Engineer on the water level <br />in Reshanau and found that the lake had risen 2.2 feet between the April and June let <br />readings. There was some discussion. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked the Building Inspector whether two'separate septic systems are <br />required in a duplex and was told "no ", but a larger drain field was needed; the <br />usual ratio is 100' to each 5 people. The Clerk indicated that the Plumbing <br />Inspector had checked and okayed the septic tank. <br />W. Bohjanen moved that we require Clyde Rehbein to get a septic system license and <br />the proper sewer permits by July 13th. This includes having a $5,000 bond and <br />proper insurance. A letter will be sent to this effect. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried unanimously. There insued some discussion on requiring a plumbing permit to <br />be shown to the Building Inspector before the building permit is issued. The Clerk <br />noted that the building permit number is required on the plumbing permit. It <br />was decided that the Building Inspector would not inspect a house until the plumbing <br />permit is shown him. <br />Mr. L'Allier passed out notices from School Dist. #16 on a meeting•to be held on <br />the mobile home tax situation in relation to the schools on June 29, 1970 at Spring <br />Lake Park Senior High School. <br />W. L'Allier read the police report as follows: 2,651.3 miles driven, 203 business <br />III and hone checks, 26 complaints, 16 junk warnings issued - result: 27 junk oars <br />removed, 9 assists to/by other departments, 3 accidents, 4 thefts amounting to <br />$520.67, 3 stolen items recovered amounting to $3,400.00, 3 legal papers served, <br />2 aids given to motorists, 1 house fire. <br />1 <br />It was noted that since the ordinance on junk cars was passed, many junk cars <br />'disappeared; and that the police have issued many tickets, west of of Hwy 8. <br />W. Myhre noted that the signing was up on Main Street; that the County has just <br />finished laying the new mat so that the painting has not been done yet. <br />W. L'Allier noted that we have written to Village businessmen requesting them to <br />call in for teenagers to work this summer. We are just keeping tract of the names <br />on both sides. He asked the newspapers to make note of this service. <br />Mr. Locher had no report other than to note that he had not yet received the legals <br />from Mr. Lee Smith for his rezoning. <br />Mr. Jaworski asked Mr. Locher about the North Central ordinance. Mr. Locher hadn't <br />yet compared the two, but stated that he had discussed the matter with Mr. Voss during <br />the Duluth convention. After discussion, Mr. Bohjanen moved.to authorize Mr. Locher <br />to check and list the differences between our Ord. 41 and the proposed North Central <br />ordinance other than the rate change. Seconded by W. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to set a special meeting on July 6th at 8:00 p.m. to aware the <br />building contract. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. The Clerk <br />noted that she expected to be out of town that darand would contact the Deputy Clerk. <br />
