Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Vote: Mr. Jaworski, aye; Mr. Rosengren, no; Mr. Bohjanen, aye; Mr. L'Allier, aye. <br />Motion carried. <br />The cost of the building was worked out as follows: <br />Original lump sum bid: $89,795 <br />Deduction for 26 gauge metal: $2,103 <br />Deduction for 8" insulation: 1,592 <br />Deduction for floating slab: 2,732 <br />Deduction for smaller canopies: 2,389 <br />Total deductions: $8,816 <br />Net price: $80,979 <br />It was decided that a special meeting would be called for July 30th at 8 p.m. <br />when Mr. Hagen would bring samples of various finishing materials, necessary <br />certifications, Mr. Gotwald's recommendations on plans, and the contract to be <br />signed. Mr. Hagen stated that Mattson would write up a regular contract and <br />would submit a monthly bill plus 10 %. Mr. L'Allier told him that our invested <br />funds would come due et the e of the months of August, September, and October. <br />Mr. Hagen expected this speci 1 meeting to be rather long. <br />Mr. Backlin asked for an appr ximate starting time and was told that the concrete <br />crew could start 1 week from day: that construction would be finished in 135 <br />days or, most probably, less. <br />The Clerk was asked to check what day of the month the rent payment falls due so <br />that we can give Mr. Breasted 30 days notice in advance. Mr. Hagen requested <br />the number of signatures that the Village would need on the contract. The Clerk <br />will check with Mr. Locher. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 10:07 p.m. Secon by Mr. Rose n. Aye. <br />Minutes approved at the meeting of July 27, 1970 <br />Clerk- Treasurer <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council held on July 27, 1970, was called <br />to order at 8:04 p.m. with all members present as well as the Attorney. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to accept the July 13th minutes as written., Seconded by Mr. <br />Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to accept the July 16th minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. <br />Bohjanen. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to accept the July 21st minutes as written. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk reported that $125 in municipal court fines had been received for the month <br />of June. A letter from Burstein & Reidenberg, Attorneys handling the sale of the old <br />municipal court property, advised that the original offer of $25 for 4 miscellaneous <br />books had been withdrawn and another buyer has offered to purchase same for $5.00. <br />There were no objections to this. The 2nd quarter fire report from Lexington was <br />passed around. The IBM maintenance contract on the typewriter was discussed; the <br />invoice was placed with the bills to be audited. <br />
