Mir. <br />Carley mentioned that on any municipal work, there is no building permit charge; <br />IIIthis would be included in any bids Mr. Hagen gets from his sub- contractor. <br />Mr. Rosengren asked if the well should be put in any particular time and was told <br />it was okay anytime after the fottings were installed. Mfr. Locher recommended an <br />insulated water tank for the well. The water tank can be put either in the garage, <br />furnace room, or outside along with the well. The Clerk was asked to call the <br />Engineer's office requesting that they draw up specifications on a well to be <br />presented at the August 10th meeting. <br />Mr. Jaworski made a motion for letting of bids,for installation of a well at the <br />municipal building. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Rosengren mentioned that approximately 300 sq. yds. of carpeting would,be needed <br />for the Clerk's office and Council chambers and approximately 1100 sq. ft. of tile will <br />be required. He also suggested that the women ' and mens' bathrooms be reversed. <br />There was discussion about insurance on the building between Mfr. Hagen and Mi. Locher. <br />Mr. Locher said the Village should take out premise liability. <br />Mir. Carley compared the contract with the spees,and found it to be okay. He left the <br />meeting around 10 :10 p.m. <br />Mr. Locher read over the contract and recommended it be signed. The payment bond and <br />certificate of insurance had not yet been received by the Village office. Mir. L'Allier <br />asked for a motion to authorize the Mayor,and the Deputy Clerk to sign the agreement <br />between Mattson Building & Supply Co., Inc. and Lino Lakes Village. Mr. Bohjanen made <br />a motion authorizing the signing of the contract with the stipulation that we get the <br />certificate of insurance, performance bond, and payment bond. Mir. Rosengren seconded <br />the motion. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 10:50 p.m. Seconded by M►r. Rosengren. <br />Minutes approved at the meeting of August 10, 1970 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council held on August 10, 1970, was <br />called to order at 8:05 p.m. by Mayor L'Allier with all members present. Also <br />present were Attorney Locher and Mir. Gotwald. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved t� accept the July 27th minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Rosen - <br />gren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to accept the minutes of the special meeting of August 3rd as written. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher had received the following information for the new Village Hail- -Labor and <br />Material payment bond, Performance Bond, letter from The First National Insurande <br />Agency stating that Mattson Building & Supply have insurance coverage of $100,000.00 <br />in effect on buildings under construction, and a 5 -year Building Warranty from Stren- Steel. <br />IIIThis information, along with the Certificate °of Insurance, signed contracts and specifi- <br />cations will be filed in the Clerk -s office. Mr. Locher requests a copy of the corrected <br />plans for our records as there is a change in the rest rooms. <br />Mr. Cardinal and Mr. Jaworski had nothing to report. <br />
