W. Cardinal moved to grant a variance to Ord. No. 21A to Mr. Donald <br />Wahlberg on the following described parcel: <br />The South 272.25 feet of the West 160 feet of Lot 16, Auditor's <br />Subdivision No. 134, according to the map or plat thereof on file <br />and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. Subject to Lilac Street over the South thereof. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. <br />W. Cardinal stated that because of a conflict he would like to change the date of <br />the first budget meeting from the 22nd to the 24rd. This was fine; the two <br />budget meetings are scheduledfor Sept. 23 and 24. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated that he would like to reserve the date of September 30th for <br />a Community & Business Development Commission meeting. W. L'Allier asked that <br />cards be sent to the Council members, Mayors and Clerks of the four Villages <br />reminding them of the next policing meeting on September 28th at 7:30. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked Mr. Gotwald what sort of checking he didcn the sign applications. <br />Mr. Gotwald stated that he came to the hall to examine the location of such <br />signs and to determine their proper spacing. Be felt that we should ask the <br />applicants to do more work on these and to see that the sign does in the specified <br />location. There is no follow through now. Perhaps a survey or staking should be <br />
