244 <br />11/30/70 <br />The discussion returned to the plows. The difference in costs of the Olson bid end <br />the Itasca Option A bid was $353.98; the difference between the Olson bid and the Itasca <br />Option B bid was $453;98, with Olson higher in both cases. <br />After more discussion, Mr. Bohjanen moved to award the bid to the lowest bidder <br />after. receiving a written bid from Olson using our V -plow plus the cost of the addi- <br />tional Husting hitch; also the Clerk to check with the Attorney and the Engineer on <br />the bids; also to consider the time element if the Wausau wing is on hand. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />• <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to authorize the Clerk and the Mayor to sign the purchase order for <br />the wing plow. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. The Clerk will - notify <br />the. Mayor as soon as such order arrives. <br />Mr. Rosengren noted that after paying for the latest gravel we should have some $20,000 <br />left in the Roads fund (after the Dec. draw). If we wereto pay $8000 down on the truck, <br />etc., therw would be a good $10,000.for the winter. The costs for the total truck will <br />amount to about $13,000 for items considered so far. <br />Mr. Gibson from Fridley Office Supply presented some costs for new furniture, noting <br />that we would receive a 15% discount on 611 items. Mr. Jim Tich of Wahl & Wahl presented p <br />prices on the Tab System of lateral filing. Mr. Jack Hetrick of General Office Products <br />Co., gave prices on all types of furniture and mentioned a warehouse of used furniture. <br />The prices are presented below by item. <br />Office Desk <br />1.
