268 <br />1/19/71 <br />established. Will they be explained to the public? <br />Basically, the problem wan what do the people of Lino Takes want in the way <br />of development? How much do they want made into recreation and how much do <br />they want developed. <br />The nuestion was asked on what type of housing would be suitable. The <br />answer was that it would be most recommended for highest residential in <br />order to get the beet use of the land. <br />Ron Jaworski Asked of the metro park people would go ahead And purchase <br />the land for development if this project were approved. The answer was that <br />the money is available but only about half is committed to the area; a <br />substantial bonding program would be used. <br />ther, in the bigger residential areas, would <br />rder to support a school system. The answer <br />community could survive. <br />They discussed what would happen to the homes already on the site intended <br />for the use of parks. It was mentioned that once it was approved for park <br />use there would then be no more homes built on that site. The people <br />already there would have to either seill or live there, but no one else in <br />their family could take over after they were gone. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 p. ". <br />"inutes approved at the meeting of February 8, 197 <br />1/25/71 <br />The regular meeting of the Vino Lakes Village Council was called to order on <br />January 25, 1971 at 8:13 p.m. by mayor T.'sllier with all members present. <br />"ayor L'Allier noted that the Clerk was ill this evening and Kay Clson was <br />filling in for her. <br />W. Jaworski moved to accept the minutes of January 11, 1971 as corrected. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />The Fourth Quarter Fire Report from Centerville was read. There had only been <br />one fire call the last Quarter of 1970 which was cancelled before the men left <br />the hall. <br />The matter of the check protector was discussed. W. Rosengren could not see <br />the benefits of a check protector but W. Cardinal thought if the word <br />'insured' was stamped on a payroll check it was easier to cash. The Mayor <br />instructed the Council to think it over and it would be discussed at the next <br />meeting. <br />Minicipal Court fines for December, 1970 amounted to $160,00. <br />W. Cardinal moved to grant a cigarette license to "The Fifth Wheel Restaurant" <br />1 <br />1 <br />
