4169 <br />1/25/71 <br />for the year 1971. Sedonded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />The public hearing on the matter of the Resolution for the Incorporations of <br />the Village of_oneka has been rescheduled for February'3, 1971 at 9:30 A.M. <br />at the Oneka Township Hall. <br />M±. Cardinal moved to grant a kennel license for 1971 to Mr. William Morrison <br />who had already paid the $50 fee. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />A letter from the Anoka County Auditor stated that the reimbursement from the <br />County for'gopher feet would be 10d per pocket gopher to villages'that paid <br />20d per gopher to individuals. certification of payment must be made to the <br />county in order to collect the reimbursement. <br />A letter from the Paul J. Breher Tnsurance Company was read stating that he <br />was working on an insurance proposal for the Village and would appear at a <br />February meeting. <br />There will be a meeting at the Village Hall on Wednesday, February 3rd at <br />8:00 P.M. with the County Board of Health and other officials to discuss the <br />feasibility of the County'providing enviromental health services for the Village. <br />!fir. Cardinal moved to deny the sign application 439 for Skelly oil, 7511 Take <br />Drive, on the recommendation of the Planning Board because the sign exceeds the <br />height allowed in our ordinance. seconded by 'r. Jaworski. Vote: Ayes: Mr. <br />Jaworski, Mr. Cardinal, '"'r. Rosengren, mr. T.'°flier. No: Mr. Bohjanen. <br />motion carried. The Clerk will notify Skelly Oil in writing of the denial. <br />The Village had received a letter from 'rhomes'floff requesting A private rifle <br />range for his own 40 acres of wooded land near Otter Lake Road. SSW qtr. <br />of NW Qtr. of Sec. 36, T31. R 22.1 Mr. Cardinal moved to deny to request of <br />Thomas Goff for a private rifle range on the recommendation of'the Planning <br />Board because neighbors had objected and clt was feared a precedent would be <br />set if one rifle range`wae allowed. Motion seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Carried. The Clerk will notify Mr. Goff in writing of the denial.' <br />*!r. Jaworski bad no report. <br />Mr. Rosengren noted that the new truck is in operation but they had neglected <br />to order A live power take off and the transmission had to be used to raise the <br />plow. Mr L'Allier instructed the Clerk to write A letter to George rotwald <br />requesting him to review the specificAtions And make sure that a live power <br />take off had not been included. A copy of the letter to be sent to the Council. <br />'fir. Jaworski asked wHAt had happened to the shield on back of the box. 'r. <br />Rosengren stated the box had not some with a shield so the Village crew hAd <br />made satisfactory Adjustments. <br />"r. Bohjanen reported that plans were coming along nicely for the Open House <br />on February 13th. He will confer with Roy Backlin as to the best space for <br />the dance floor. 'fir. Rosengren has extra tables available for the event. The <br />C&BDC will meet Thursday and' "r. Cardinal will hove a key available for the <br />garage. The Civil Defense will serve coffee during the open House, all rooms <br />will be open for inspection and there will be Valentine Decorations in the <br />hallwAy and serving Area. " sign will be mAde` indicating those who have donated <br />items to the new Hall. Invitational letters will be sent to many dignitaries <br />including Governor Anderson. 11r.
