278 2/8/71 W. Cardinal also asked about having a telephone available for the Council in the evenings. After discussion, W. Rosengren moved to get one phone and have 3 jacks installed: Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. Norton Miller presented a letter from Francis Husnik indication that Holly Drive had been maintained by Centerville °Township and Lino Lakes from 1936 to 1958 inclusive. W. Locher checked the wording on this end indicated the chages that should be made. Copies of this affidavit °were to be made for all members, the Attorney and the Engineer. The Clerk was asked to check the old files for records of such maintenance, as was W. Gotwald Also. R.oy Becklin asked the reporters to warn parents about children tunneling in the snow banks because of the danger of the plow sealing them in. Mr. Jaworski moved to pay the bills as audited. Aye. minutes approved at meeting, of February 22, 1911 _,./."?.4df Clerk- Treacure -- 2/22/71 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council held on February 22, 1971, was called to order at 7:57 P.M. by Mayor L'Allier with all members present. W. Bohjanen moved to accept the minutes of the February 8th meeting as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. The Clerk reported that no insurance bids were ready yet. She presented 2 applications for the Deputy Clerk position from Mrs. Elaine Hunt and Mrs. Shirley Gothmann, noting that Mrs. Sarner, Assessor, had filled out an application but had wished it withdrawn since other applications had,,been received. Also, the affidavits of publication of the notice were here. W. Bohjafien,moved to turn the applications over the Personnel Commission for consideration. Seconded by W. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. Mr. Cardinal stated that W. Cecil LaMotte had again presented his pre- liminary plat for LaMotte's Third Addittion to the P&Z on Feb 17th. The Clerk read a letter from W. Gotwald regarding some,omissions from the plat. The turnaround and the future Centerville Park road were discussed. Mr. Cardinal moved to accept the preliminary plat of LaMotte's Third Addittion subject to compliance to the Engineer's recommendations. Seconded by Mr.'Jaworski. Carried unanimously. The Molin Concrete Products building plans were discussed. A letter from the Planner regarding same was read, stating that Molin should reduce limits of construction to a 50' setback from 4th Avenue, require planting of trees in various places, show the utility entrances clearly and require the approval of the exterior apperance of the building by the Building Inspector W. Cardinal noted that the P&Z had „recommended approval of the plans. W. Cardinal moved to accept the plans for Moline Concrete Products subject to the Engineer's approval of the utility entrances and the sewer system.
