LeVesseur 25.00 <br />Minutes accepted at the meeting of March 11, 1968 <br />lerk <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order on March <br />11, 1968, by Mayor Ralph L'Allier at 8:06 PM with all members present. <br />The minutes of the February 26 meeting were read. Mr. Bohjanen moved that the <br />minutes be accepted as read with the addition of the resolution concerning the <br />lighting facilities on 35W. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />A special hearing on a petition for rezoning by Acton Construction Co. was than held. <br />Mr. Acton gave his plans for construction of buildings and development of about 50% <br />of the 29 acre parcel. Mr. Locher stated that he had sent notices of the public <br />hearing to all the property owners within 200 feet of the proposed land to be rezoned, <br />read the affidavit of posting by the building inspector and read the affidavit of <br />publication of the notice of public hearing from the Blaine Life. The Council had <br />previously waived the requirement of a signed petition. Thereupon, Mr. Cardinal moved <br />that the Village of Lino Lakes pass a resolution to adopt Ordinance No. 6H. Seconded <br />by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />1 <br />Mr. Ken Rehbein asked the Council whether he could obtain building permits for some <br />of the lots in his property on Main and W. Rondeau as they did not front on an existing <br />Village road. Mr. Bohjanen moved that the Council turn this matter over to the P&Z <br />at their next meeting, that Mr. Cardinal would contact Mr. Gotwald to inspect the <br />property and report on it at the next regular Council meeting to be considered then. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. The P&Z will also hold a public hearing on <br />platting of a section of this property. <br />The Village's financial report for February was read showing a balance of $545.76 <br />in the checking account as of Feb. 29th. Receipts were $5,673; disbursements were <br />$6,080.42. The County Treasurer had been asked for an advance of $5,000 on the <br />March allotment. <br />
