A map showing <br />the property was placed before the Council. The Engineer indicated first 150' <br />would be 40' width, rest 60'. After a half -hour discussion and argument, during <br />which both Mr. Stucke and Mr. Alexjew stated that they preferred to have the <br />building permit 00 issued leaving the easement as is and refused to allow the <br />proposed easements, Mr. Bohjanen moved that the Council approve the building <br />permit with the stipulations that there be no additional permits issued on the <br />easement, that platting by Mr. Stromberg be necessary before his property be di- <br />vided and sold, and that his goes on the record at Anoka. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Vote: Aye -. Bohjanen and Mr. Jaworski. No--Mr. Rosengren, Mr. <br />Cardinal and Mr. L'Allier. Failed. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved that the Road Study Board, the Planning and Zoning and the <br />Council get together on the site to consider the problem before the next Council <br />meeting. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski mentioned that the Happy Hustlers 4H and Lino Lakes 4H had planted <br />600 trees in Sunrise Park. He also announced the Park Board meeting for May 20 <br />and-Personnel Commission meeting on May 14th. <br />Mr. Bohjanen mentioned that the C&BDC had talked about roads and that they hoped <br />that the Road Study Board would meet more often and regularly. The C&BDC will <br />once again sponsor a girl to be entered as a queen onadidate in the North <br />Suburban parade on July 4 with donations to be made by businessmen= <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved that the Clerk write a letter to NSSSD asking them to construct <br />the proposed line from Centennial School to the intersection of Sunset and North <br />Road before the final construction of the surfacing of North Road which is <br />imminent, copies to be made for the Council and one for Mr. Bohjanen to present <br />at the next NSSSD meeting. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved that the Council pay the extra $5.00 insurance premium to insure <br />the entrance signs for $350.00. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />A letter from Washington Development Company on Olson Memorial Highway was read <br />regarding a proposed trailer court on the Stellick property at the intersection <br />of Highways 8 & 49. The Clerk was instructed to write them that the plans had <br />been received and ask them for an exact legal description of the property as wa11 <br />as tell them to prepare to answer questions on sewage, easements, recreation area, <br />exact lot sized and the Conservationfjd Department's concern over changing of a <br />shore line. They are to contact Duane Klepel if they will attend the June 19th <br />meeting of the P&Z. <br />Mr. Cardinal announced that he wished to clarify a false newspaper report that he <br />had told the Johnsons to buy the lot and then see the Building Inspector. Rather, <br />he had told them to see the Building Inspector first before buying the land. <br />Mr. Rosengren stated that he had ordered the culverts and that they were here. The <br />Clerk was instructed to hold the bill, deferring payment until the culverts are <br />aced. Mr. Rosengren and Mr. Gotwald will work on a schedule for road work. <br />Mr. L'Allier thanked the road study board for their efforts. <br />Proposed ordinance 21-B came under discussion and will need a few changes. Mr. <br />Locher favors setting of market value of a developments land at the time of <br />
