Mr, Rosengren moved to adjourn at 8:30 PM. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Minutes were approved at the meeting of June 24, 196 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council held June 24, 1968, was called to order by Mayor L'Allier at 8:07 PM with all members present. Clerk Mr. Cardinal made a motion to accept the minutes of the special June 20, 1968, meeting as read. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. Mr. Jaworski made a motion to accept the minutes of the June 10, 1968, meeting as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. A letter from North Central Public Service Company was read stating that they have finished facilities on Main Street west of CenterVille to Fourth Avenue. Because of the sod farms they do not plan to go to the city limits on Main St. at the present time. They plan to extend on Centerville Road to Birch Street this year. They have a survey on County Road J west of Number 49, a survey on 20th Avenue north and survey on Birch Street. The County Road J extension will be in the 1969 program. Mr. Bohjanen stated that this is according to the map that they previously sent us except that they had added the County Road J which had previously been rejected. The Bloomquist brothers presented the final plat map of Bloomquist Addition. Mr, Bohjanen made a motion for a special hearing before the P&Z and the Council on July 17 for Bloomquist Addition. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Locher will check with the County Attorney for the search of title. Mr. L'Allier announced that Elwood West had had a heart attack and is presently much better. The Park Board minutes were read. Mr. Jaworski questioned whether under the proposed park ordinance a person subdividing five acres or less would be re- quired to donate 10 percent. Mr. Locher replied that subdividing by metes and bounds does not come under the ordinance, only platting. Mr. Bohjanen stated that the C&BDC is still working on the brochure. The P&Z minutes were read, stating that Mx. Leon Lillehaugen had presented plans for developing the property on the corner of 8 & 49; W. E. P. Jester had requested a variance. There was a question about whether there was a commercial business operating on Aqua Lane. After discussion it was decided that Aqua Floats Corporation, is doing assembling (light industrial work) and that the property is not zoned commercial. It was decided that Mr. Cardinal will talk to Mr. Klagget of Aqua Floats inviting him to bring legal descriptions to the next meeting. Mr. Rosengren reported that they had gravelled Holly and 12th and installed two culverts on 80th. Also he received an offer from Craig Alexander to sell a packer for $350 and a large tractor for $900; these were to be delivered for a trial period. 1 1
