76 <br />Mr. Dupre stated that he had not yet checked on the sewer problem on Otter <br />Lake Road. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that the Village adopt new Ordinance *45 concerning taxi- <br />cabs and authorize the publication of same as it had been corrected by the <br />Attorney. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved that the Village adopt new Ordinance $46 concerning road <br />load limits and authorize publication of same. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Carried. <br />Mayor L'Allier gave the following police report: 2 accidents, 1 medical assist <br />1 domestic call, 1 burglary, 11 escapees from the Youth Center (6 hours) <br />putting 1,034 miles on the police car in 98 hours. <br />Mr. Myhre reported that he had looked for the horses reportedto be on acreage <br />on Hodgson Road opposite Birch Street but could find nothing. <br />Mr. L'Allier reported that the Attorney General, Senator Grieg, the Assistant <br />Highway Commissioner and others had been present at the ribbon - cutting ceremony <br />on September 4, and that the Assistant Highway Commissioner had stated that <br />135 would be open to Duluth next year. <br />Affidavits of publication had been received for Ordinance 6J, hearing on 6K <br />and notice for filing affidavits of candidacy. <br />Copies of Circle Pines' audit concerning Lino Lakes gas were passed out to the <br />Council. <br />The insurance policy for the Civil Defense Auxiliary for the auction on Sept. <br />8 was shown. <br />The Clerk stated that $1,147.70 had been received from the State for Mobile <br />Home taxes. Also, an answer from Governor LeVander acknowledging receipt of <br />our resolution for Bruce Nawrocki. Agent Bob Johnson had forewarded a work- <br />men's compensation schedule showing addition of the Civil Defense members. <br />Copies of the trailer park ordinance from Blaine were passed around. <br />The Fire Marshall stated that he had looked over the situation at Flanagan's <br />and Schwankl's.and found no problem. Mr. Schwankl stated that he had planned <br />on building a loading platform for his oil tanks along the adjoining fence; <br />also, that the garage couldn't be seen from Highway 8. Mrs. Flanagan stated <br />that they had plans to connect the two garages into one large building. <br />Mr. Schwankl complained that the eave hung over his fence and water would <br />drain on his property. Mrs. Flanagan was willing to cut off the eave. After <br />more discussion, it was decided that it would be necessary to establish the <br />boundary line by survey. Mr. Bohjanen thus moved that no permit be issued <br />for the garage until the line is definitely located by survey. Seconded by <br />Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Cardinal then moved that the Building Inspector issue the necessary permit <br />when proof of the line is established, that is a certificate of survey. The <br />Building Inspector should check for irons, if there, no survey is necessary. <br />Also, the eave should be cut off on east side before the permit is issued. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />
