In November the push <br />will be aluminum cans and in December it would be household goods and appliance recycling. <br />C. Recycling Assistant K.C.Kye, Recycling Updates, Progress Reports <br />K.C. Kye stated that the Saturday Recycling days are really bringing in the items. In July there <br />were 8 roll offs of appliances and recylable items. In September there were 10 roll offs and over <br />200 cars stopped in to participate. V###1'$V <br />K.C. Kye has been communicating with business of where they can place some recycling <br />containers to collect more items and improve public awareness about recycling. <br />At this time some of the projects that K.C. Kye is working on is the recycling portion of the City <br />of Lino Lakes website, a fact sheet for recycling, a twitter feed, and facebook to connect to the <br />residents. He is also working on promotions for recycling with the churches, schools and multi- <br />family units. Also a grant for organic recycling. <br />K.C. Kye will also be atending an adult master recycling class if anyone is interested contact <br />Anoka County for information. <br />7. ADJOURNMENT <br />Ms. DeHaven and Mr. Heiskary made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m. Motion <br />was supported by Ms. McDonnell.
