The affidavits <br />of publishing and posting of notices of the hearings were shown. The portion of <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission minutes regarding their approval of Mr. Rehbein's <br />request was read. There was no discussion from the audience on either his request <br />for rezoning or a special use permit for an indoor arena. <br />Mr. Cardinal then moved that Ordinance No. 6K be adopted, setting forth the rezon- <br />ing from residential to commercial use of the following property: <br />The West three - fourths of the Northwest one - quarter of the Northwest <br />One- quarter Of 3/4 of NW 1/4 of NW 1/4) of Section Five (5), Township <br />Thirty -one (31) Range Twenty -two (22), Anoka County, Minnesota <br />belonging to Mr. Ken Rehbein, and that he be granted a special use permit to con- <br />struct, maintain and operate, according to law, a riding stable and horse show <br />arena, and necessary structures and improvements incident thereto on said property. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried unanimously. <br />Upon being asked how soon he would start building, Mr. Rehbein produced drawings <br />showing a pole -type building about 80 by 250 feet to be constructed east of his house <br />
