He was then instructed to see the Building Inspector for a <br />building permit. <br />11/ <br />The matter of a special use permit for W. Floyd Miller to construct a building <br />to be used as a base of operations for his cabinet-making crew was taken up. <br />Affidavits of posting were shown and the portion of minutes of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission pertaining to W. Miller were read. No objections were raised <br />from the audience. <br />Mr. Cardinal thus moved to give Mr. Floyd Miller a special use permit to constuct <br />maintain and operate, according to law, an office building, garage, and cabinet <br />shop, and necessary structures and improvements incident thereto on the residential <br />lands situated in the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota and which are <br />described as follows: <br />That part of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 3, T 31, R 22, Anoka <br />County Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the Southwesterly <br />corner of said NW 1/4 of SW 1/4, a distance of 348.0 feet; thence North <br />at a right angle, 66.0 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence con- <br />tinuing North on said line extneded, a distance of 208.71 feet; thence <br />easterly, at a right angle, a distance of 208.71 feet; thence southerly <br />at a right angle, a distance of 208.71 feet to the point of beginning,M(bottom) <br />with the stipulation that the cabinets produced in this building be used only in <br />the houses which W. Miller constructs and not for retail sale. Seconded by Mr. • <br />Bohjanen. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 8:13 p.m.; seconded by W. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />The regular Council meeting was then called to order at 8:13 p.m. by Mayor <br />L'Allier, all members being present. <br />The minutes of the September 9 meeting were read. Mr. Bohjanen moved to accept <br />the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />The affidavits of publication of ordinances No. 45 and 46 were shown. The <br />Clerk was instructed to send Mr. Dabasi of Forest Lake Taxi a copy of Ordinance <br />No. 45 and invite him back. <br />The Clerk stated that the outstanding fees for rezoning by Northwest Saddle Club <br />had now been paid. Also, a notice from the Social Security office of a second <br />chance for PERA members to join up with Social Security had been received and <br />posted. <br />W. L'Allier annnounced several meetings including that of the Anoka County <br />Association of Municipalities on September 25 at Columbia Heights at which County <br />Administrator, Mr. Bernard Steffen was to speak on the progress of county roads. <br />The next police meeting will be on October 7th. After the second budget meeting <br />on September 26, the Council will discuss the feasibility of hiring a full-time man. <br />The Park Board minutes were read. W. Jaworski mentioned that the Park Board would <br />like to purchase a slide for some $770.00 from the same company as they purchased <br />II/the Buck-abouts, to be put in Sunrise Park. <br />W. Jaworski moved that we purchase the Hickory Dickory Dock slide for Sunrise <br />Park. Seconded by W. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />(*legal con't.) together with an easement for roadway purposes over the <br />southerly 66 feet of the westerly 557.0 feet of said NW 1/4 of SW 1/4. <br />
