1 <br />91 <br />An answer from Robert Tilsen regarding the barn on Fourth Avenue was read. He <br />suggested that Mr. Glenn Rehbein tear down same or that the local fire depart- <br />ment might use it for practice. W. Jaworski will contact the Lexington Fire <br />Department. <br />The Clerk reported a complaint on the Claggett property of Aqua Flodts that <br />rubbish had not been picked up nor any work done on the well or septic system. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved that the Clerk write Mr. Claggett a letter stipulating the <br />conditions under which his rezoning had been granted and mentioning the com- <br />plaint. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />The report on the ecapees and time spent by the Constables at the Youth Center <br />was passed around. After discussion Mr. L'Allier moved that we write a letter <br />to Senator Tom Greig sending him a copy of this report and asking him to prepare <br />a bill asking reimbursement from the State for monies which Lino Lakes has <br />expended on capturing escapees from the Youth Center. Also, that the Council go <br />on record favoring a maximum capacity for inmates to be set on the Center and <br />favoring more stringent security controls. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that we issue a permit to St. Joseph's Church for bingo for <br />the rest of the year. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />There was discussion on easements by the Elk River Company. <br />Mr. Jaworski stated that the slide had come and would be up by the end of the week. <br />After considerable discussion of drainage ditches, Mr. Cardinal moved that the <br />ditch in Lino Park be cleaned back to its original level (depth of culvert) and <br />charged to Parks Fund. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />The question of gas coming in on Birch Street was discussed with a call to be <br />made to Mr. Blaylock. <br />Mr. Bohjanen reported that the front page of the brochure wasabout ready, waiting <br />for a copy of the new map. He had also talked with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />Association that they wished a couple changes in our resolution. The Clerk <br />was instructed to make copies of the resolution for the Council. Mr. Bohjanen <br />still favors a 7 -man board rather than five. <br />Mr. Rosengren reported that the culvert on East Rondeau had been repaired; they <br />were working on bad spots in the Lakeview area. He requested the purchase of <br />signs, prohibiting machinery with lugs and horses with shoes, for use on Aqua <br />Lane, Rolling Hills Drive, and Bald Eagle Boulevard. Okayed. <br />Mr. Rosengren stated that no water had been put under the prime coat on Aqua <br />Lane. They will put up barricades on West.Rondeau at the corners. Mr. Locher <br />will check on the tax status for two lots at Sunset and Fremont which is having <br />a drainage problem. <br />a <br />Mr, Rosengren moved to okay the request for buried pedestal on Fourth Avenue <br />by,Northwestern Bell Telephone Company upon Mr. Gotwald's approval. Seconded <br />by_Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr. Myhre was asked to check on junk cars on the Don Paul farm. <br />
