119 <br />The Clerk requested a private line for the Hall telephone as new persons on the <br />present eight party line were giving trouble. The monthly rate for same would <br />come to $20.75. Mr. L'Allier stated that it was worth the investment to have the <br />phone for use by businessment. Mr. Cardinal moved to have a private phone installed <br />in the Village Hall. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />The hearing for rezoning by DX Sunray, represented by Mr. Stockstead, was called to <br />order at 8:20 p.m. The Planning and Zoning Board minutes were read, showing them <br />in favor of the rezoning for proposed Ordinance 6M. It was shown that the proper <br />postings andpublications had been made public under affidavit. There was no dis- <br />cussion, pro or con, from the audience or the Council. Mr. Cardinal then moved to <br />adopt Ordinance 6M, rezoning the 1.7 acre plot at 35E and Main Street. Seconded <br />by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal then moved to grant a variance to DX Sunray for the same parcel. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. J. H. Dielentheis, representing U.S. Lakes Development Co., Inc., stepped for - <br />ward to request that the Council set hearings for the final plat of Lakes Addition <br />Number One. He also presented six copies of the final plat and four copies of the <br />proposed streetgrades. The hearings were set on February 19 before the Planning <br />Board and on February 24 before the Council, both at 8:30 p.m. Mr. Dielentheis <br />stated that a list of some 200 proposed names for streets in the whole development <br />would be submitted to the Council for their approval. The Clerk was instructed to <br />send a copy of this list to each member of the Planning Board. Mr. Dielentheis <br />will provide the necessary copies. He also stated that the Uniform Building Code <br />standards would be used in all their buildings. Mr. Dielentheis agreed to have an <br />agreement regarding the park area drawn up. Copies will be sent to the P&Z and the <br />Park Board. <br />Mr. Jaworski then moved that copies of the plat map be sent to the Engineer, the <br />Attorney and the Planning and Zoning Board, as well as the Clerk and the Council. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to grant a variance to Mr. Kenneth Rehbein to build upon a lot <br />on Fourth Avenue hav ing the following legal description: <br />That part of the NW 1/4 of Section 5, T31, R22, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />described as follows: Commencing at the NW corner of said NW 1/4, of Section <br />5; thence southerly, along the westerly line of said NW 1/4, a distance of <br />800' to the point of beginning; thence continuing southerly, along said west- <br />erly line of NW 1 /4, a distance of 208'; thence easterly, at right angles, a <br />distance of 208', thence northerly at right angles, a distance of 208'; thence <br />westerly, at right angles, a distance of 208'; to the point of beginning. <br />Subject to Fourth Avenue. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen then moved to grant a variance to Mr. Keith Apitz to add a 25' strip <br />to his property, said strip having the following legal description: <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 30, <br />Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of State Highway No. 49 as now established; <br />t. thence East along said South line and the centerline of a public road for 433 <br />feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be hereby <br />described; thence continuing East along said line for a distance of 25 <br />feet; thence North at right angles for a distance of 170 feet; thence West <br />parallel with the first course for 25 feet; thence South 170 feet to the <br />point of beginning. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />
