1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Mr. Jaworski announced that he had obtained the option for the property on Lake <br />Amelia, in effect until December 31, 1969. This was on 25.4 acres to be purchased <br />at $550.00 per acre with $1000 down and $1000 per year at 6% interest. It had taken <br />time to get the option as Mr. Molitor had insisted on getting the exact figure for <br />the area; this was based on 19.7 acres in Government Lot 2 from the 1850 survey plus <br />another piece. Mr. L'Allier suggested that we have it surveyed as Mr. Cardinal men- <br />tioned that the Lake was higher now so that there would be less land. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the following licenses for the Oasis Lounge: on and <br />off sale intoxicating, off -sale 3.2 beer, dancing. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the on and off -sale 3.2 beer license for Mr. Rosengren <br />at Hank's Cafe. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried with Mr. Rosengren abstaining. <br />The Clerk reported that Mr. Hauer from the Apple Inn had not gotten his license ap- <br />plications in and that the on -sale intoxicating license had to be reported to the <br />State by June first. Mr. Jaworski moved that the Clerk be authorized to call Mr. <br />Jerome Hauer tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27, telling him that if his application, bond and <br />proof of insurance wwere not inspected by the Attorney and turned into the clerk by <br />Thursda y the 29th, the Council would not consider his application. The Clerk is <br />also to send a letter stating these conditions to Mr. Hauer. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Carried. <br />The Clerk handed out the revised franchises received from Mr. Busch for Jandric. A. <br />special meeting was set for June 17 at 8 p.m. (after hearing Mr. Gotwald's sewer{• <br />report previously) for the consideration of the franchises. <br />The Clerk reported that her husband would be on vacation the last two weeks of June <br />and the first week of July, so that she wouldn't be available to keep the Hall open <br />five days a week herself- -she asked whether the Hall should be closed or if the <br />Deputy Clerk should keep the hours. Mr. Jaworski moved that the Deputy Clerk be <br />paid to keep the Hall open five days a week. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to pay the-bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr.'Bohjanen moved to authorize the Mayor and the Clerk to sign the Lexington Fire <br />Contract. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren.
