20, <br />Mr. Gotwald mentioned that he had met twice with the Park Board on the overall <br />park plan. It is hoped that some formulation of this plan will be ready in <br />August to recommend to the Park Board and the Council. <br />Mr. L'Allier mentioned the meeting on July 21 on the County Park Plan. Minutes <br />will be taken., <br />The police report for June as follows: 6 accidents, 1 fire, 5 miscellaneous <br />complaints, 1 stolen property, 2 junk warnings, 3 assists to Ramsy County, <br />Centerville and Forest Lake, 2 domestic calls, 5 excapees from the Youth Center <br />taking 5 hours and one speeding ticket. <br />Mr. L'Allier appointed Mr. John McLean as liaison from the P &Z to the planning <br />consultant, Mr. Van Housen; he also appointed Mr. Cardinal to act as liaison. <br />from the Council to Mr. Van Housen in order to see that requested materials are <br />submitted to him within 45 days. A joint meeting with Mr. Van Housen will be <br />set shortly thereafter. Letters will be sent. <br />Mr. Locher brought forth proposed Ordinance 6 -0 concerning limited commercial <br />rezoning. Since all members had copies it was not read aloud. Mr. Cardinal <br />moved that Lino Lakes adopt Ord. 6 -0 amending Ordinance No. 6. Seconded by <br />Mr. Jaworski. Carried. Special use permits will still be required in some <br />instances. <br />Mr. L'Allier announced that tomorrow night at -s7 p.m. a meeting would be held <br />at the Lexington Village Hall at the request of the Circle Pines Mayor for the <br />purpose of discussing County policing and all Council members were invited to <br />attend. <br />The Council discussed again the flag design; Mr. Jaworski had brought samples <br />of changes. Mr. Cardinal moved that the following design be adopted: the basic <br />design which the C &BDC proposed with the following color changes: the back- <br />ground of the flag to be light - blue, the background inside the circle to be white <br />and the herons to be grey.. Also the 2 gold circles will be a solid gold band. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried with Mr. Jaworski voting no. The <br />Clerk was instructed to direct the design immediately to Commissioner Bob Burman <br />with carbon copies to Mr. Bohjanen and Naomi Zelinka, Secretary of the C &BDC/ <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adopt the resolution pertaining to the lighting of 35E <br />and County Road J as approved by the Engineer. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier mentioned the trophy won by the CD float in the local parade. He <br />then moved that a letter be sent to the Civil Defense and the CD Ausiliary com- <br />mending them for their efforts in the Village, congratulations on the floats. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier also thought a letter should be written to the CD on behalf of the <br />Council thanking them for the persons who have been riding with the police when <br />necessary. <br />Mr. West had checked the bruder property and reported that they had removed loads <br />of cast iron and paper. Also, that it was reported that he had sold his routes <br />in Forest Lake and Coon Rapids. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved to adjourn at 12:12 a.m., July 15, 1969. Seconded by Mr. <br />Cardinal. Carried. <br />
