Carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier announced the meeting set with Lexington and Circle Pines to discuss <br />possible County policing or pooling of departments for Aug. 21st at 7 p.m. to be <br />held at Lexington. <br />Mr, Al Ross suggested that, in order to help out with voter registration, the <br />Clerk might send a letter to the area parishes to put in their bulletins. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to send a letter to the churches announcing that voters have <br />to be registered and the pertinent dates. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. Ross also denounced the assessing of underground wiring by NSP to customers. <br />This will be taken up at the next meeting. Mr. Ross also suggested that a stipu- <br />lation should be put in the ordinance on trailer parks that buildings with washing <br />facilities should be provided with basements in case of tornadoes. This suggestion <br />was well received. Mr. Cardinal will bring this up next time. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to authorize the Clerk to send a letter to NSP objecting to <br />their charges for underground wiring, and indicating that we are passing an <br />ordinance regarding installation of underground utility lines. Seconded by <br />Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. Ross also stated that he felt that Lino should accept the County's policing <br />offer. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried. <br />Mr. Dupre stated that he had looked at the stucco house from the outside, that <br />they are working on it putting in wiring and replastering, and will re- stucco. <br />Also, Dick Olson had come to get a renewal permit for his basement and that his <br />house is going up. <br />A motion had been made to confirm the setting of hearings for a special use permit <br />for Naegele Sign Co., that members had been contacted by phone, all except <br />Mr. Bohjanen, that the Clerk had stated that she had been unable to contact him <br />the evening that she had talked to the others. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 11:32 p.m. Seconded bar.
