1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />19 <br />Mr. Locher stated if the Council wished to increase the penalty for misdemeanors to <br />$300 and /or imprisonment a blanket ordinance would have to be passed. <br />Mr. Locher stated that as instructed he had drawn up Ordinance No. 49 on underground <br />utilities, including the recommended changes by Anoka Electric, and broadened it <br />by adding Section 5 on plans and maps to be submitted. This had been studied by <br />both the Council and the P&Z. Mr. Bohjanen moved to adopt Ordinance 49. Seconded <br />by Mr. L'Allier. Carried unanimously. <br />The hearing for Naegele Sign Company was called to order at 10:25 p.m. There was <br />no representative present from the company. Mr. Cardinal moved to continue the <br />hearing to an indefinite date. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />The Uniform Building Code was mentioned; the P&Z has not had sufficient time to <br />study it yet. Mr. Jaworski stated that the Building Inspector did not feel that it <br />would replace all of our Code. <br />Mr. R. W. Ellingsen, Weed Inspector, stated that he had finished weed control for <br />1969. He felt that some kind of a uniform program throughout the State was needed, <br />and that there would be a directive from the State next spring. He mentioned other <br />problems, including the County not spraying all of their ditches. <br />Mr. Ken Rehbein asked whether the 30 acres to be used for the Hall would have to <br />be rezoned to commercial. Mr. Locher checked the law and stated "no ". <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. Locher noted that the three acres to be purchased for Twitchell Cemetery would <br />need a special use permit. The Clerk will write informing them of this. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to set a meeting with the fiscal agent, Springsted, Inc., for <br />September 29 at 8 p.m. The Clerk will call them the next day and write later. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Bohjanen noted that he might be late for <br />the meeting. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 10:42 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren.
