IMotion by Kelling, second by Heckenliable, that a Special meeting of the council <br />and the Planning and Zonning Commission be held on Wednesday, February 6, 1963, at <br />8:00 P.M. at,Louie's. All voted in favor. <br />Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on January 28, 1963 <br />Members present as follows: Mayor Kelling; Trustee's Backlin, Heckenliable,and <br />Speiser; Clerk Hauer. <br />The minutes of the preceding meeting were read on motion by Backlin, second by <br />Speiser, they be accepted as read. All voted in favor. <br />Rifle range license applications were received from Jim Gustafson and William <br />McCogoville and will be issued on approval of constables after a safety check. <br />Cigarette license applications were received. from Lawrence Murphy of the Apple <br />Inn and from Elna Baxter of the Red Floor Inn. Motion by Speiser, second by <br />Heckenliable, to issue licenses. All voted in favor. <br />Mayor Kelling explained the house numbering system in the village. Motion by <br />Kelling, second. by Heckenliable, the Council agree on the present numbering sy- <br />stem and would back Al Dupre in the event of any discrepances or difficulties. <br />All voted in favor. <br />Motion by Kelling, second by Backlin, that a black board 4' x 6' be purchased for <br />council meetings. All voted in favor. <br />Motion by Heckenliable, second by Clerk, Clerk Hauer should w, its R.E.A. request- <br />ing they give every attention and consideration to Elwood. A11 voted in favor. <br />Mr. Heckenliable presented an application from Mary Rehbein for rezoning his pro- <br />perty from residential to commercial. No action was taken, but the Planning and <br />Zonning Commission is to inform Mary Rehbein on how the council feels in this <br />matter. <br />Motion by Backlin, second by Kelling, for a bill to be sent to Circle Pines Utility <br />Commission for damage done to village snowplow. Also for Clerk to check on fire <br />insurance for village trucks. All voted in favor. <br />Claire Jerome, village engineer, explained the specifications of village street's. <br />Mr. Speiser, reported the wiring at the Village Park was completed. <br />Motion by Kelling, second by Speiser, a letter should be written to County Com- <br />mission Chairman, Al Kordia.k, stating Lino's interest and support in establishing <br />a joint village park, of Lino Lakes and Centerville, on Centerville Lake. Also <br />to have a copy of the letter sent to Al Ross. All voted in favor. <br />Motion by Kelling, second by Speiser, for members of the State Legislature to be <br />contacted by Attorney Babcock, enabling legislation to hermit issuance of licenses <br />for serving food in village bars. All voted in favor. <br />Emily Rehbein, treasurer, reported that she had received a check in the amount of <br />$100.00, from Joe LaMire for his fine. <br />Mr. Heckenliable and Mr. Speiser, were appointed members of the Board of Health. <br />Mr. Heckenliable is to check on the Doctor for the Health Officer. <br />3 <br />
