24 <br />Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on July 8, 1963 <br />Members present as follows: Mayor Telling; Trustee's Speiser, Heckenliable, and <br />Clerk Hauer. Trustee Backlin absent. <br />Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on mouton by Speiser, and seconded by <br />Heckenliable, were accepted as read. All voted in favor. <br />A continuation of the tax hearing was held and since there were no tax protests, a <br />motion was made by Speiser, and second by Heckenliable to close the meeting. The <br />motion was carried. <br />Tillage Engineer, reported on the street improvement bids for Twilight Acres and re- <br />commended that the low bid of LaTalle Excavating be accepted. <br />Motion by Telling, second by Speiser, to Table bids until a later date. A11 voted in <br />favor. <br />1 <br />Mr. Heckenliable, reported that the next meeting of the Planning Board would be held <br />on July 17, 1963. <br />Mr. Sieiser, reported that the weed spraying was completed and that the work in the park <br />is also completed. He also stated that the grass was planted and growing good. <br />Motion by Telling, second by Heckenliable, that Howard Speiser, be granted permission <br />to buy 10 gallons of paint for Park Buildings. All noted in favor. <br />Motion by Telling, second by Heckenliable, that present uniforms were okay. All voted <br />in favor. <br />Emily Rehbein, treasurer, reported that she received a check from Secretary of State for <br />$614.81, for Lino Lakes share of mobile homes tax. Also a draw of $15,836.90 from <br />Auditors Office. The Tillage funds were reported as follows: <br />Balance on hand July 1, 1963 <br />$4,908.90 <br />General Fund 963.87 <br />Civil Defense 918.38 <br />Debt Redemption 3,542.03 <br />Gopher Fund 399.85 <br />Parks and Playgrounds 2,079.03 <br />Fire 193.59 <br />Road and Bridge - 3,187.85 <br />Motion by Telling, second. by Speiser, that the council give the Clerk and Attorney per- <br />mission to pay off Bonds #1. All voted in fawn-. <br />Motion by Heckenliable, second by Telling, Council authorize the Tillage Treasurer, to <br />invest monies set aside for redemption of the first bond issue for street isprovement. <br />All voted in favor. <br />John Juleen, reported on the meeting of District #2 Planning Board. <br />Robert Raymond, Constable, reported on the new Tillage Police ca.r. <br />Motion by Heckenliabble, second by Speiser, that Robert Raymond be authorized to purchase <br />a new set of tires for the patrol car. All voted in favor. <br />Motion by Telling, second by Hekcenliable, the Tillage Engineer draw up specs and <br />advertize for bids, for seal coating in Lakeveiw Addtition. All voted iii favor. <br />Motion by Telling, second by Speiser, that Tillage Engineer attend meeting in Shoreview <br />on sewers. All voted in favor. <br />
