All members present. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and corrected. Motion by <br />Backlin, second by Speiser, that minutes be approved as corrected. <br />Motion carried. <br />Wayne Danheim of Circle Pines outlined the problems recently encoun- <br />tered when non - licensed personnel installed piping and appliances, and <br />asked the village to consider passing an ordnance to have anyone working <br />on the gas system to have a license. Domning asked if an amendment <br />to the present ordinance would be sufficient, Mr. Danheim did not think <br />so. After discussion by the council, Mr. Danheim was advised the matter <br />would be turned over to the Planning Commission for a recommendation. <br />Two reference materials, Gas Piping Ordnance and Heating Code of Mpls. <br />were given to the council. <br />Two guests were present from Lexington VFW, Cmd. William3Andy and Adj. <br />George Helmeke, asking for permission to hold bingo games on Sunday <br />evenings. After discussion, Anderson moved, Speiser seconded, that we <br />grant the permit. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
