134 Zelinka moved we appoint Bruce Fleming in Lexington as Dogcatcher for 1966. Second by Domning. Motion carried. Domning recommended that Dr. Medboe or some one of his staff at the Clinic in Forest Lake be retained as Health Officer of the Village. Second by Backlin, motion carried. Backlin moved we retain Columbus Township for the same services as per- formed in the past. Second by Speiser, motion carried. Zelinka moved we pay the clothing allowance for the police officers on the basis of twice a year instead of once a month. Second by Speiser, carried. (Clothing allowance, $5.00 per month) Ross moved that a notice be put in the paper that the village hall will be open on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Juleen will be present during those hourse, and will be paid,at the rate of $1.50 per hour, with the sume of $550.00 to be paid for the year. Second by Speiser, motion carried.. Motion by Zelinka that we approve the cigarette license applications of Henry Rosengren, Ralph Nathe and Louis LeTendre. Second by Speiser, motion carried. Backlin moved that another person from the village accompany him to in- spect the Ford Truck in Anoka for sale, and that we take an option to negotiate for it at a price of $2,500. The old truck will be traded in. Second by Ross, Motion carried. Ross moved we change the name of the Civil Service Board to the Personnel Committee. Second by Speiser, carried. The Ordinance will be referred to the Committee for further study. Domning named Bill Bohjanen to the Committee to replace John Juleen. Speiser moved that a different door be installed in the barn at the park where the new tractor will be stored, and also that the cost be taken from the general fund. Second by Backlin, motion carried. Speiser also reported both rinks in good condition and being used. Ross reported that the next P&Z meeting will be the 19th. To be discussed at the next meeting is the Heating and Plumbing Ordinance, The Committee will also begin a study of our Parks situation, Rosengren read a letter confirming his appointment to the Utilities Com- mission, Mr. Domning spoke on the gas franchise contract and proposed a meeting in the very near future for the Council with the attorney present for Lino Lakes, the Utilities Commission and the local citizen's group. Mr. Domning was invited to attend the meeting of the Citizen's group on Wednesday, January 13th. Locher reported that the Huntleys from Baldwin Lake Motel will be present at the meeting on January 24th with their Attorney, concerningthe special use permit fee of $75,00. Locher also reported the hearing for the Rehbein rezoning would have to be set over to the 24th because of an error in the newspaper publication. Ross moved we approve retroactively the action of the attorney. Speiser seconded, motion carried.
