134 <br />Zelinka moved we appoint Bruce Fleming in Lexington as Dogcatcher for <br />1966. Second by Domning. Motion carried. <br />Domning recommended that Dr. Medboe or some one of his staff at the Clinic <br />in Forest Lake be retained as Health Officer of the Village. Second by <br />Backlin, motion carried. <br />Backlin moved we retain Columbus Township for the same services as per- <br />formed in the past. Second by Speiser, motion carried. <br />Zelinka moved we pay the clothing allowance for the police officers on the <br />basis of twice a year instead of once a month. Second by Speiser, carried. <br />(Clothing allowance, $5.00 per month) <br />Ross moved that a notice be put in the paper that the village hall will <br />be open on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Juleen will be <br />present during those hourse, and will be paid,at the rate of $1.50 per <br />hour, with the sume of $550.00 to be paid for the year. Second by Speiser, <br />motion carried.. <br />Motion by Zelinka that we approve the cigarette license applications of <br />Henry Rosengren, Ralph Nathe and Louis LeTendre. Second by Speiser, motion <br />carried. <br />Backlin moved that another person from the village accompany him to in- <br />spect the Ford Truck in Anoka for sale, and that we take an option to <br />negotiate for it at a price of $2,500. The old truck will be traded in. <br />Second by Ross, Motion carried. <br />Ross moved we change the name of the Civil Service Board to the Personnel <br />Committee. Second by Speiser, carried. The Ordinance will be referred <br />to the Committee for further study. Domning named Bill Bohjanen to the <br />Committee to replace John Juleen. <br />Speiser moved that a different door be installed in the barn at the park <br />where the new tractor will be stored, and also that the cost be taken from <br />the general fund. Second by Backlin, motion carried. <br />Speiser also reported both rinks in good condition and being used. <br />Ross reported that the next P&Z meeting will be the 19th. To be discussed <br />at the next meeting is the Heating and Plumbing Ordinance, The Committee <br />will also begin a study of our Parks situation, <br />Rosengren read a letter confirming his appointment to the Utilities Com- <br />mission, Mr. Domning spoke on the gas franchise contract and proposed <br />a meeting in the very near future for the Council with the attorney <br />present for Lino Lakes, the Utilities Commission and the local citizen's <br />group. Mr. Domning was invited to attend the meeting of the Citizen's <br />group on Wednesday, January 13th. <br />Locher reported that the Huntleys from Baldwin Lake Motel will be present <br />at the meeting on January 24th with their Attorney, concerningthe special <br />use permit fee of $75,00. <br />Locher also reported the hearing for the Rehbein rezoning would have to <br />be set over to the 24th because of an error in the newspaper publication. <br />Ross moved we approve retroactively the action of the attorney. Speiser <br />seconded, motion carried. <br />
