136 January 24, 1966 meeting of the Lino Lakes Council was called to order at 8:00 p.m. All members present exxcept Al Ross. Hearing for the rezoning on Rehbein property was called to order with the usual procedure followed in asking for objections, filing of verified postings etc. Speiser moved that we accept the peition and approve the requested rezoning. Second by Backlin, motion carried. Mr. Fudali, Attorney for the Huntley's presented the request for a Special Use Permit to operate the Baldwin Lake Motel. After consultation between Mr. Locher, Mr. Fudali and the Huntleys, it was moved by Backlin that we issue a psecial use permit with stipulations as set by the attornies so listed on the permit. Second by Speiser, motion carried. Plans received by the Highway Department concerning 35-W wereturned over to George Gottwald, who will report at the next meeting. Treasurer's report was read. Backlin reported that negotiations to purchase the Ford Dump Truck (former County Truck #288) had been completed, and a check for $200.00 earnest money forwarded. Speiser reported that Mr. Dupre has been working on the new barn door on the building at the park, but is not finished yet. Speiser also moved that we increase the pay for Mrs. Billik as caretaker for the park to $35.00 a month, retroactive to January 1, 1966. Second by Zelinka, motion carried. Domning asked the Clerk to read the letter from the Citizen's group on the gas issue. After further discussion, Attorney Locher was asked to arrange a meeting between the Council, the Utilities Commission and the attorney for the Citizen's Group to try and reach an understanding in order for the gas contract to be extended. Locher discussed Ordinance 21A with the Council, which has reference to torrenstitles and application of such to certain size plats on all land sold in the village. Report on the last Planning and.
