136 <br />January 24, 1966 meeting of the Lino Lakes Council was called to order at <br />8:00 p.m. All members present exxcept Al Ross. <br />Hearing for the rezoning on Rehbein property was called to order with <br />the usual procedure followed in asking for objections, filing of verified <br />postings etc. Speiser moved that we accept the peition and approve the <br />requested rezoning. Second by Backlin, motion carried. <br />Mr. Fudali, Attorney for the Huntley's presented the request for a Special <br />Use Permit to operate the Baldwin Lake Motel. After consultation between <br />Mr. Locher, Mr. Fudali and the Huntleys, it was moved by Backlin that we <br />issue a psecial use permit with stipulations as set by the attornies so <br />listed on the permit. Second by Speiser, motion carried. <br />Plans received by the Highway Department concerning 35-W wereturned over <br />to George Gottwald, who will report at the next meeting. <br />Treasurer's report was read. <br />Backlin reported that negotiations to purchase the Ford Dump Truck (former <br />County Truck #288) had been completed, and a check for $200.00 earnest <br />money forwarded. <br />Speiser reported that Mr. Dupre has been working on the new barn door on <br />the building at the park, but is not finished yet. <br />Speiser also moved that we increase the pay for Mrs. Billik as caretaker <br />for the park to $35.00 a month, retroactive to January 1, 1966. Second <br />by Zelinka, motion carried. <br />Domning asked the Clerk to read the letter from the Citizen's group on <br />the gas issue. After further discussion, Attorney Locher was asked to <br />arrange a meeting between the Council, the Utilities Commission and the <br />attorney for the Citizen's Group to try and reach an understanding in <br />order for the gas contract to be extended. <br />Locher discussed Ordinance 21A with the Council, which has reference to <br />torrenstitles and application of such to certain size plats on all land <br />sold in the village. <br />Report on the last Planning and. Zoning meeting minutes were read by the <br />clerk.
