All members present. <br />Minutes were read and corrected. Backlin moved we accept the corrected <br />minutes, second by Ross, motion carried. <br />Mr. Myers and Mr. Herbst were present with their Attorney, James Gibbs, <br />pertaining to the land fill fump they wished to start near Lake Amelia, <br />Mr. Gibbs described the operation, after which Myers and Herbst were <br />questioned by the Council, with particular emphasis on whether or not <br />approval had been obtained from the State Water Pollution Department, <br />State Health Department, St. Paul Water Department and others. The <br />Council indicated their desire to see written approval from the above <br />referenced departments and informed Mr. Myers and Mr. Herbst that if <br />they wished to proceed, to contact our legal counsel Mr. Locher, and have <br />the necessary hearings instigated. <br />Mr. Zastrow of Lino Cabinet Company brought in alternate drawings for a <br />conference table. Following discussion, Ross moved we purchase the semi- <br />round configuration at a cost of $370.00 in walnut finish. Second by <br />L'Allier, motion carried. Delivery will be approximately 21 weeks. <br />(Note: copy of the drawing with the 2 matching smaller tables will be <br />filed for future consideration). <br />Minnesota League of Municipalities dues for 1966/67 were discussed, and <br />it was moved by L'Allier that we pay the regular dues of $187 but not join <br />the new "Section" group since the Council has joined with the Anoka County <br />League. Second was by Backlin, motion carried. <br />
