1 <br />187' <br />Ross also read from a report that indicated things are currently at a <br />standstill between Mr. Hanson and the State Highway Department, with referenc <br />to the service road requested. (County Road 54 and 35E) <br />Ross suggested Mr. Fleming be invited to the December 27th meeting to <br />discuss his requested increase in the dogcatching fees. <br />L'Allier reported he is continuing work to have the new gas burner installed <br />completely in the warming house at Lino Park, and that Mr. LeVesseur will <br />act as caretaker. Also that the hours at the Sunrise Park had been changed <br />and would not be open at 10 a.m. <br />Gotwald commented briefly on the meeting on Friday, Dec. 9th at the <br />engineers office pertaining to a future sewer system. Centerville has <br />indicated willingness to meet early in January, and the Engineer's office <br />will issue the full report after this meeting has been held. <br />Locher reported he had met with the County Attorney, Bob Johnson; Charles <br />Weaver, James Gibbs, Tom Forsberg and attornies of other villages, town- <br />ships and cities within the proposed watershed area. This was primarily <br />to inform all areas affected of the legislation that will be required, <br />new methods of assessment, individual problems of villages etc., and the <br />recommendation was made that the Council become actively involved immed- <br />iately in the association. <br />Locher also recommended not completing the plumbing and heating code until <br />after the major changes are completed in the Minneapolis code which is <br />being used as a pattern. Delay will probably amount to about 4 months. <br />Locher presented the ordinance prepared in order to adopt Plan A govern- <br />ment. Ross moved we adopt and have published. Second by L'Allier, motion <br />carried. No action was taken to appoint a Clerk/Treasurer at this time. <br />Domning reported a budget had been set up for the Municipal Court for the <br />coming year. Distribution of costs and disbursements will be changed to <br />go up for Lexington and down for Circle Pines and Lino Lakes. It was also <br />agreed to reimburse Lexington for the use of the village hall, to appoint <br />the new Deputy Clerk from Lino Lakes, and to continue under the present <br />3-year contract. Each village will continue to pay 1/3 of the Judge's <br />salary. If it is felt the system needs changing, the attornies will be <br />asked to set up new legislation to change the next contract period. <br />Moved by Backlin the following bills be paid, second by L'Allier, motion <br />carried. <br />1097 - E.
