Members present: L'Allier, Ross aid <br />Backlin. Clerk Zelinka was absent. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read. Mothion by Backlin, <br />second by Ross to accept the minutes as covrect- Carried. <br />Village dog catcher, Bruce Fliming, withdrew his request for a fee in- <br />crease, as the 1967 budget rate is set. After discussim, Ross mo- <br />tioned to rescind Section 4 of Ordinance #25 and raise dog impound- <br />ing fees from $3.00 to $5.00, and boarding fees from 75¢ to $1.00 per <br />day. Second by L'Allier to adopt the ordinance. Carried. <br />Mr. Domning presented. a copy of the Municipal Court financial agree- <br />ment for 1967 signed by Mayors Domning, Eck and Holum; Also a re- <br />viewal from North Central Gas Co. of the gas installatin progress <br />to date. Both documents were placed on file. <br />Mr. Backlin reported; Lloyd Erickson, living on W. Rondo Lake Rd., be- <br />ing ill, had requested the Village to snowplow his driveway. Since <br />private plowing is not village policy, a decision was made to do so <br />in emergency cases pxly. Mr. Backlin had secured agreement from <br />Jake Lundheim to County plowing- of 64th St. both sides of the free- <br />way. Mr. Lundheim had stated Otterlake Road be turned back to the <br />village. Backlin asked councils future observance in the matter as <br />the road should remain county responsibility. <br />The flanning Meeting minutes of Dec. 21, 1966 wereread and placed <br />on file. <br />Mr. Ross asked if the Village could legally purchase lane through <br />private agreement with land owners and not enter into bond floating <br />procedures. Mr. Locher stated State statute 412.211 gives the right <br />to land acquisition through purchase, gift, condmmnatthon or otherwise <br />Mr. Ross brought up the fact the 1967 Fire Contract with Lexington. <br />Fire Dept. has not been settled. A meeting will be held with the <br />department shortly. <br />Mr. L'Allier reported the Lino Lakes Park Bldg. has been insulated <br />and Mr. Dupre had partially completed enclosing the gas burner. Mr. <br />LeVasseur will serve as caretaker to the park at a salary of $25.00 <br />
