Members present: L'Allier, Ross aid Backlin. Clerk Zelinka was absent. The minutes of the previous meeting were read. Mothion by Backlin, second by Ross to accept the minutes as covrect. Carried. Village dog catcher, Bruce Fliming, withdrew his request for a fee in- crease, as the 1967 budget rate is set. After discussin, Ross mo- tioned to rescind Section 4 of Ordinance ,/25 and raise dog impound- ing fees from 3.00 to ,g55.00, and boarding fees from 750 to .1>1.00 per day. Second by L'Allier to adopt the ordinance. Carried. Mr. Domning presented a copy of the Municipal Court financial agree- ment for 1967 signed by Mayors Domning, Eck and Holum; Also a re- viewal from North Central Gas Co. of the gas installati)n progress to date. Both documents were placed on file. Mr. Backlin reported; Lloyd Erickson, living on Rondo Lake Rd., be- ing ill, had requested the Village to snowplow his driveway. Since private plowing is not village policy, a decision was made to do so in emergency cases pily. Mr. Backlin had secured agreement from Jake Lundheim to County plowing of 64th St. both sides of the free- way. Mr. Lundheim had stated Otterlake Road be turned back to the village. Backlin asked councils future observance in the matter as the road should remain county responsibility. The Planning Meeting minutes of Dec. 21, 1966 were read and placed on file. Mr. Ross asked if the Village could legally purchase lane through private agreement with land owners and not enter into bond floating procedures. Mr. Locher stated State statute 412.211 gives the right to land acquisition through purchase, gift, condemnatIon or otherwise. Mr. Ross brought up the fact the 1967 Fire Contract with Lexington Fire Dept. has not been settled. A meeting will be held with the department shortly. Mr. L'Allier reported the Lino Lakes Park Bldg. has been insulated and Mr. Dupre had partially completed enclosing the as burner. Mr. LeVasseur will serve as caretaker to the park at a salary of 425.00
